Head out to the garden terrace-y area; it may be further from the food, but more open space, and strangely fewer people. Order the burger, sip on your Bollie Rose, and get loose as a goose...
Being a frequent visitor here on international transfers, I am always impressed with the efficiency and genuinely pleasant assistance that I receive at the Guest Services desk. Thanks Trish.
Only elite Cannes Lions revellers enjoy the rarified atmosphere here at the BA First ClassLounge. Remember, if there's anything you want that isn't on offer at the bar, just ask a staff member.
While the lounge is generally always busy, I have never had a problem finding a seat. One thing that could be improved is fixing the plug receptacles as many are too loose.
Order from the menu which are laying around the lounge. Food is freshly made. Buffet is horrendous mess and is filled with greasy food. Great to putting Kon weight or boosting the cholesterol level
5am is the only quiet time in this usually packed lounge. Not all sofa groups have power sockets /wireless charging. Quietercoffee machines closer to the First Wing. The pains au chocolat are good.
Make sure to have a look on their menu before filling up on the buffet. A step above the business lounge from choice of food and beverages to seating areas.
Shower. Showering on a layover is the most reviving thing you can do. Reserve in the lounge menu. Exit the lounge to get the the showers (they are down the hall where you came in)
For Cannes Lions delegates keen to catch up with the office, remember the wifi password here changes regularly. And if the office can wait, check out the rosé selection. Perfect prep for La Croisette.
New caterers from today 2may13. Lets see if their ideas are more creative than the last team. Also always try out the open areas on the east side. They're great.
Wonderful lounge fantastic views over the runway and BAs amazing operation at T5.great selection of drinks and wines, nice tea and coffee.Fab Bacon nuttiest and soups.great place to chill on terrace
Looks like they've improved the food menu - laverstoke farmsausages and freshly madeburgers rather than the mini ones in the buffet. wish I was here later in the day...
A bit loud today. Kids. Suited fellow on the blower walking around being dead loud too. And then the waiter dropped glasses everywhere. This is an exception. Usually it's better than this.
Strange. There is a separate lounge for "real" first-class passengers (The Concorde Room), so this lounge (although extremely nice) is somehow mis-named.
