- Good tip, NEXUS pass can safe you loads of time at security but it closes at 4:30pm.
- IanOctober 7, 2010Power plugs are at the bottom of the support columns at the gate seating areas. They even have little laptop symbols indicating it is okay to use.
- Ladies try to get your bags and exit the luggage line up before taking a restroom break or you will be waiting in line forever.
- You can get 1L of Jim Beam for $20! Better than the US
- Departing the YVR to take the Millennium Line will cost you 9$ a ticket. They don't care for bus passes or polite Canadians. Bring a fare save ticket.
- One of the best Airports in North America. Free Wifi is awesome.

- US flight after 8:30pm? You depart out of the International Terminal and will go through customs upon arrival in the US.

- Premium Plaza lounge are much better than Air Canada for food

- Have a burger from Canadian chain Harvey's while you wait for your bag (domestic terminal)
- Canadians now go thru electronic kiosks at #YVR for entry into US, but still need to see agent briefly
- If you are going down to pier C for your flight make your cell phone calls before you go... Cell signal (with Rogers anyway) is not very good!
- Hit the Tim Hortons by the exit, get a coffee and chilli. Coffee is amazing, chili pretty damn good.
- If you use the global entry machine then you don't need to fill out the blue US departure form.
- Never arrive YVR at noon-1pm. Its like 15 flights landing at almost the same time. Lining up for immigration is like lining up for Space Mountain in Disneyland. 90 minutes at best #worstlineever

- John BonebrakeJuly 28, 2010Ask the customs agents why Canadian $1 & $2 coins are nicknamed after cartoons just to see their reactions. Their explanations are comical..
- Oh and double check the automated machines before inserting your declarations card. It makes customs so much easier, just make sure no one forgot to log out before using the terminal!
- If you're making a domestic connection you'll have to go through security again.
