A peaceful place to pass an afternoon. I liked the different gardens, the hiking trails, the views of the Hudson, and the thoughtfully stocked gift shop.

A bit of a trek to get out to (especially if the 1 isn't running when you do...) but a nice place to visit for a summer afternoon. Plenty of gazebos and benches tucked away among the plants and paths

Nice peaceful place if you need to escape Manhattan and its tumult. Follow the woodland trails for a more ‘rustic’ experience, even cool on rainy days !

It's relatively quiet - if people want to listen to music they have to use headphones. No music in the cafe, either. It's a dream.
