- First We FeastAugust 4, 2014A solid beer selection for a sports bar, with local options like Empire IPA in the mix. The grub is tasty, too, especially the five-cheese mac with chorizo and the pressed ham-and-Gruyere croissant. Read more
- Hands down my favorite sports bar. It's rarely crowded, they have a great beer selection, and their cheeses all have truffle baked inside! Amazing.
- Shashi RicksonFebruary 1, 2013Cool efficient little bar. Been by for soccer, which really gets crowds, so I've done the beers and sliders. Tonight, tried something else with my $4 draft. Truffle Mac and cheese: so creamy, so Gouda
- Chelsea RenaudMay 10, 2016Best Bar to Watch Sports: not for large groups unless you can get there early. But the staff is accommodating, have a million beers, and a F*ckit Bucket (6 cans for $15) and beer/shot deal ($7)
- Varun ShettyDecember 18, 20135 screens and a sneaky sophisticated food menu for a sports bar. Especially good for soccer or for drinking a pint while waiting for your table at Chuko across the street.
- WyngspanJanuary 24, 2014Soccer fans rejoice! Fabulous bar in Brooklyn that is big on European soccer. Get here early before the games if you want a seat! Help spread the word with a trust rating:
http://bit.ly/1hsKwfn - I've been there for a Champions League match midweek afternoon with lots of people from all over the soccer planet. I really enjoyed it there. Try the Brooklyn Defender!
- Love this place. Nice people, delicious beverages, and great food! Get the sangria if they have it. And a hammy!
- Jade CJuly 4, 2015Food is a little pricey ($9 for a grilled cheese sandwich + ham) but the ambience is good, and they have the wherewithal to show MLS games (seem to have MLS Live) which is pretty rare in New York.
- Even if you don't think you'll like it try the pickle back! It's delicious. So is the food--especially the pork sliders and Mac and cheese (add meat!).
- Michelle WendyNovember 8, 2012Add Portuguese chorizo to the truffle mac and cheese. It's rich and therefore satisfying so you can share and still get your fill. Malbec, $3 beers $5/$6 cans. Something for everyone.

- Madeleine YuDecember 23, 2012Stellar staff and great vibe. I love watching local sports here. Even though it's a soccer bar, it great to cheer on the Knick with the bar fans.
- The F*** It Bucket is a great deal, and the beer/shot specials are too. The food is also solid, despite the limited kitchen. If you like chorizo get a Portugal sandwich.

- Pulled pork sliders, mac n cheese, meat & cheese plate, beef sliders, all the beer
- Love this place! Great place to pop in have a couple beers, shot, and sandwich. There's some crazy b here right now going nuts on someone on her cell though. That's the only non-awesome thing.
- Best sports bar anywhere, with an emphasis on soccer. Get a Fuckit Bucket and a Don Q and settle in.
- The #Macandcheese was delicious. customer service not so much. One of the bartenders made no effort to help out and was more interested in talking to his friends at the end of the bar.
- Jenny CrowleyJune 3, 2012One of my favorite bars for watching sports or hanging out. Truffle Mac and Cheese with Chorizo and a pickle back... Does the body good.
