When Congress is in session, Bistro Bis is the unofficial lunchroom for many members. The onion soup is a crowd pleaser as is the crisp braised pork belly with butter beans. -- Green Guide Editor

The cheese plate at this upscale Capitol Hill spot is one of the best in town. Varieties from around the world are featured on the menu, as well as helpful wine pairings.

A good onion soup is hard to find—but not if you’re eating here. What to get: Endive salad with blue cheese; steamed mussels in saffron broth; steak frites; steak tartare; apple tart with Calvados.

While the food was good. I didn't get the correct order, the bartenders. R wonderful the wait staff pass the buck and can be short with patrons, and they don't know the menu, $70 meal and not worth it
