I second the spicy cheese fries - there's just something about pigging out from a bucket that adds to the allure! My friend was pleased with the huge gluten-free menu that's mostly unadvertised.

Not bad BBQ if stuck in Manhattan, but I'd go to Beast of Bourbon or Fette Sau in BK if you need a real fix. Impressive beer rotation.

The frybread is really delish!!! Great cocktails too, including really strong mint juleps and Lynchburg lemonade.

A pretty sterile place but it's midtown so there you have it. No happy hour but Imperial Pints. Between here and Shorty's or Barfly i'd stick with Shorty's.

As a born and raised Southern Girl, I rate this BBQ ordinary. They try to do 2 much here with the Memphis, KC, TX BBQ versions, etc. stick to being good at 1 version bc u can't be good at everything.

Baby back ribs are great! One rack is enough for two people. Order two sides: french fries and blue cheese with bacon dip sauce and it will be perfect!

Reputation was that this was going to be king of NY BBQs. Not even close. Flavors are good, but brisket was dried out. Only sauce is sweet/molassessy. It's an alright place but nowhere near the top.
