- Suzie FritzMarch 5, 2012Had an amazing stay here! we were on the 11th floor on the end, great view, clean, great location, quiet, very comfy beds, which made us sleep in! but I loved it & def stay here again!
- Rose CherusseryMarch 25, 2013The Park Plaza takes you back in time. Small rooms, but worth the experience. Check out the old chute mailing system and elevators while you're here!
- Luigi MondiMarch 26, 2013Large flats teen TVs, incredibly comfy beds, very clean, and charming. Close to the T (green line) and the Common. Only drawback is the quite expensive fee for wifi ($12.50 per device per day).
- teresa SchmitzMay 10, 2011Years ago there may have been mold. I'm here now, 5/10/2011 and see/smell no mold. Gorgeous, grand hotel. One of my favorites. Check out Sweet, AK cupcake shop on newbury-aboit a half mile stroll
- They turn off the A/C when it is cool outside, so it gets warm in the rooms. Ask for a window fan when you check in, and ask to have someone open the window for you since they are bolted shut.
- Andrew C.June 12, 2016After the renovations, the rooms are very well anointed. Things are brighter, calm and muted colours. Really like the new look. Service is still impeccable.
- This is a great hotel. Friendly staff, historical. Room sizes reflect age, but are very nice. Close to the T and a nice shopping district, parks, harbor, etc.
- Beth AnnAugust 20, 2018Good location. We have a suite and it's small so I can imagine how small the regular rooms are. The valet parking fee if $51 per day, even if you are a hotel guest.
- Tony ClaridgeApril 25, 2017Lovely building and room was great but stay away from the woman on the tourist trip desk (Carolyn)..she gave us duff info which led us on a wasted trip and costing us more money .. complained
- Learn about the history of the hotel just around the corner from the main desk. This is the original bar drink menu.
- Ryan BrightSeptember 5, 2015I recommend continuing your hotel search unless you like historic color palettes, laughable elevator algorithms, and hallways that take the space your room so desperately needs.
- The Verizon talent acquisition team was right here. If you are looking to start your career, now is the time. Do your research on the company and if it's the right fit apply at www. VZWcareers.com

- Nina TurnerJuly 18, 2011Yes, it is dated & not "modern" by any means, but everything is clean; service is great; beds are very comfortable. I'd recommend to anyone looking for a decent place to stay while exploring Boston.
- Dana MarieSeptember 22, 2016Beautifully quaint hotel in a great part of town. Room was very clean and the staff was great.

- Risa ShimizuMarch 20, 2016the room is neet and the location is good too. 1min walk to the subway station and there are lots of shops around.
- People weren't so fat and self righteous as they are now ninety years ago. That's why the rooms are small. It gets the job done; you have a place to rest your head when you're not exploring downtown.
- Great hotel. Soo amazingly retro glam! Rooms can be small but comfy. Great location and service.
- This hotel is very nice! Take a look around and notice all of detail. If these walls could talk! Great location as well!
- Jessica U.December 3, 2010If you stay here, you must invest in the 15th flr rooms (towers level). Updated, free wifi, deluxe continental bfast, evening snacks & hors d'oeuvres, free paper daily if you choose, flat screen plasm
- Kazz NealApril 9, 2012Great service, hotel is beautiful and well kept. Across from the T, short walk to the gardens, and close to all the good stuff! I approve!
- Nice comfortable room. Friendly staff. No wifi in rooms is a WTF, but it's avail downstairs and possible in room if lucky. Excellent location, close to everything.
- Sean BorowskiJune 26, 2011Staff was courteous and helpful. We experienced free wifi on the 12th floor, not sure if this is because we were close to the towers or if this is a new addition. A nice beautiful old hotel.
- Great hotel. Great location--so close to everything. Comfortable rooms. Friendly staff.
- Erica YoungApril 24, 2012Located in a great neighborhood a couple blocks from Boston Commons. Also, happy to say they have wifi now for a nominal daily rate in the hotel rooms.
- Fatma AlSAugust 27, 2015after their construction everything is beautiful! Great Service, delicious food..but too small rooms
- Cory O'BrienSeptember 10, 2012Beautiful hotel, reasonable rates, close to everything, and friendly service. What more could you ask for?
- Grant SandersDecember 5, 2011These rooms feature the Keurig Brewing System. So if you don't like the Paul NewMan's fair trade they offer, bring your favorite K-Cup when you stay here.
- Erik VollebregtOctober 3, 2013Really noisy place with unsettling experience of sharing a room with your neighbours because the walls are so thin. And come on, make the wifi free in the rooms. But, location is super.
- Heather ShinnFebruary 10, 2012Beautiful historical hotel in a great location. within walking distance to Boston Commons. Very comfortable stay.
- teresa SchmitzAugust 20, 2011Reserve the Towers level. Delicious and plentiful breakfast and afternoon snacks. Definitely worth the upcharge.

- ConnorAugust 6, 2014The rooms may be small, but that's expected for its age. The location is fantastic!
- HelenApril 9, 2012Bathroom's tiny, walls let in a LOT of sound, & maids skipped cleaning one day. Great if you love old architecture, building's gorgeous!
- Kathi KalinaFebruary 14, 2013This is an example of the grand hotel of yesteryear. It is clean. However, it is in need of some serious infrastructure updates like the electrical. There is no electrical outlet in the bathroom.
- Hunter KnepshieldOctober 25, 2014To get free wifi and save yourself $12.50 or more, use corporate access code "Corporate" when connecting.
- Make sure you ask for a room on the non-construction side of the hotel. The saw, drill, and hammer well into the night. Very noisy.
- It's a historical hotel people, of course it's going to be "dated". Beautiful moldings & fixtures, very well kept despite age. Extremely friendly service.
- teresa SchmitzMay 10, 2011Gorgeous, grand hotel. A favorite. Check out Sweet. A cupcake shop on Newbury. About half a mile stroll
- Peyton SherwoodDecember 9, 2013Rooms are Victorian, quaint. Ask for a room on the Statler Park/Columbus Ave side for a better view.
- Very warm and friendly hotel. They just made the whole hotel wireless (at a fee & NOT free) and installed 37 inch Plasma TVs in every room.
- Jeff MarlingApril 20, 2018Basically the place is amazing until you leave the lobby. Broken woodwork, small rooms. I had a “deluxe” king...room didn’t even have a dresser or separate sitting area.
- Eric SpiegelJune 30, 2011The WiFi is spotty-to-non-existant in the rooms, but it's fast in the lobby. Plus there's a guest only lounge to the right of the main doors.
