The bagel with lox has got all the fixins you crave: tomatoes, red onions, capers, and duh, cream cheese and lox. It's served toasted, open-faced, and delicious.

This place is great, they have lost of selections. You can get awesome sandwiches and vegan/ non vegan food/salads here. Also they recently added fresh juices, get the # 11 with ginger.

The meat sandwiches are great. Nice wood benches outside to sit and eat too. (If only Nassau wasn't so ugly to look at)

The vegetarian lasagna is no joke. I could eat it for days. Get to the Standard when it's fresh, just after 5 pm, and your stomach will thank you.

The assorted cold dishes in the fridge are great. Try the beet salad or black bean salad. This place is a godsend for vegan/vegetarians.

4 dollars for a cup of iced coffee? Hands down the most overpriced coffee in NYC, maybe even the country. Also, although tasty, the bacon egg and cheese comes with a half slice of bacon. $$$$$$$

Good for some things but now that the 24 hour corner store opened up across the street there's no reason to pay Brooklyn Standards inflated prices. Also, check the expiration dates.
