2010 zinfandellodi, california Nice ripe, concentrated fruit flavors w/ soft, velvety tannins & notes of sweet baking spice. we sourced these grapes from 45 & 90-year-old vines & aged them in 33% new American oak. this limited production created only a single barrel, so get it while you can!

Cava NV penedes, spain this bone dry sparkling wine comes from organically farmed 35-year-old vines & is made in the champagne method, which gives it yeasty, biscuitlike flavors along w/ baked apple & pear. You’ll find light small bubbles & a creamy texture on the palate.

Brut rosé albuquerque, new mexico In 1952 a French winemaking family planted an experimental vineyard in new Mexico, which was so successful that the family embarked on a u.s. adventure. they aged this rosé for 24 months as part of the traditional “méthode champenoise” process.

2009 obaideh/merwah/cinsault bekaa valley, lebanon a great choice for chilly nights, this full-bodied rosé offers up hints of peach, vanilla, & minerals. fermentation & aging in French oak barrels lends a slight oxidative note to this organically produced wine. fun fact: local bedouins hand-harvest these grapes!

2010 Xarel-lo (“shah-rehl-loh”) cataluñya, spain a family owned winery that has been growing grapes & making wines at this location since 1290. super fresh w/ notes of pineapple & stone fruits, followed by hints of aromatic herbs, sweet spices, & minerals

2010 falanghina campania, Italy one of Italy’s oldest grapes, coming from campania in southwest Italy, in the “shin of the boot.” a refreshing wine bursting w/ a variety of fruits & some floral notes, full-bodied, w/ balanced acidity.

2010 Roussanne/viognier cotes de thongue, france this white blend was cultivated organically on 15-year-old vines. It offers a rich mouthfeel balanced w/ acid & minerals. You may taste stone fruit, candied lemon, or a slight floral note.

2010 Chardonnay mâcon chaintre, france young chardonnay vines, hand-harvested grapes, underground fermentation, & stainless steel aging contribute to burgundy’s high quality, marked by notes of citrus fruits, lively acidity, fruit blossom aromas, & excellent balance

2010 Melon de bourgogne muscadet de sèvre et maine, france this wine is produced using grapes grown organically on 40-year-old vines. The grapes are hand-harvested (a rarity for the region) , fermented w/ natural yeast, & bottled w/ a very light filtration.

2010 monastrell alicante, spain this winery has remained in the same family for 220+ years! their delicious red is named after the 80-year-old American oak vats (“conofors”) used to age it. you may detect ripe plum, cherry, & sweet spice alongside soft, lush tannins & balanced acidity.

2009 Malbecmendoza, argentina this juicy red wine offers fresh fruit balanced by rustic leather & mocha components, w/ firm but lush tannins & a smoky, spicy finish. This particular wine is incredibly wellmade & sets itself apart from other argentine malbecs.

2009 primitivo puglia, Italy primitivo shares the same dna as American zinfandel. these grapes are certified organic & were grown on 30-year old vines; the resulting wine is ripe w/ black cherry flavors, notes of herbs & spice, & a sneaky finish.

2010 Blaufränkisch mittelburgenland, austria this wine shows history & elegance.Organic grapes are planted on steep, gentle hills w/ rye & clover plantings between the rows. This wine is very typical of the region—beautiful ripe fruit, great spice components, racing acidity, & soft, juicy tannins.

2008‎ Fleurie beaujolais, france unlike other wines from beaujolais, this gamay noir is from one of the 10 beaujolais crus (the highest classification in the region) . Delicate but w/ excellent structure, this fruit-driven wine can taste of tart red fruits & is served from a magnum!

2009 pinot noir finger lakes, new York the search for prime pinot-growing earthhad winemaker tom higgins nearly shot for trespassing! his successful quest to make delicate fruitful, acidic, mineraldriven pinot noir in the finger lakes has the whole region pondering the grape’s new potential there.

Oloroso, NV jerez, spain more than three centuries of sherry production have kept the hidalgo family in business. Oloroso (“scented” in spanish) is a sherry produced by oxidative aging; you’ll find this wine to be smoother & less dry than a fino sherry.

2001 Colheita porto, portugal the grapes used to produce this port were crushed by foot! This wine brings unique flavors of dried prunes, apricots, & caramel. Interestingly, port has been used in the past as a therapeutic agent...so drink up.

2010 Spätlese piesporter goldtröpfchen, germany a truly incredible german dessert wine made from hand-harvested grapes & natural yeasts. This riesling from the mosel region is bold & distinctive, w/ great depth & plenty of acid for structural support. You may find notes of limestone, slate, passion fruit, mango, & a mineral-driven finish.

Hazelnut Porter Bangor, Maine 5.6% ABV This American-style porter has a super malty flavor w/ low hops. Fun fact: the dog on the label was a Great Pyrenees who watched over the original kettle as the beer boiled away.
