Check your gate ahead of time to see the food options. Wait times range from the worst I've seen to almost nothing, and not always predictably. Arrival times a joke, add 1 hour
A 2013 report from CDC affirmed that the smoking rooms don't work. Smoke leaks out exposing staff an passengers to chronic low levels of secondhand smoke.
Security is extremely slow here. Allow an extra hour or more. C and D terminals area dumps. Get food before you come.
Three cheers for flight crews that let us use our pda's during delays!

Drew AspinwallJuly 2, 2010Don't rely on the PA in terminal A; be 'that guy' and stand by your gate when they announce 1k and global. Nearly stayed overnight because calling boarding 4 was too much work for the night crew.

Avoid United Airlines, enormous delays are their norm and they obviously couldn't care less. Very depressing after a long haul flight to face 2-3 hour delays on your connection.

Mitch EaglsteinApril 7, 2014This airports customs area is worse than a 3rd world country. I have never seen anything more disorganized. Hundreds of people missed flights today needlessly because of it.- First time flying US Air out of Z gates. No food or drink other than Subways (yuck!) but they're just past security (seating is limited though).
The Airbus A380 lands every day at 1pm and departs at 4:40 pm
Wow...don't fly international on a Thursday afternoon, the lines are huge!

In the C terminal Potbelly at Gate C1 is not usually crowded and nice staff.
