- No road signs tell you how to Econ Parking from Departure zones. Take Daily Lot 1 Exit, go past it, make a right, next right, next left, then watch for road signs on right. Near gas & fire stations.
- California tortilla is a great value. 8 bucks for a huge burrito bowl
- Jacob CanfieldApril 21, 2013The "diamond lane" tip in the baggage claim is not always open, so don't depend on it. From start to finish, it took us 46 minutes (timed by my iPhone) to get through security and to our gate in C.

- You can use Uber.com to get a black sedan to or from DC. The flat rate of $80 to/from inside the beltway is comparable to taxi fare and is a LOT better service!

- California Tortilla located in terminal C. Can even take shuttle to terminal C & walk to Terminal D if that's where your flight is. :-)

- Indoor Pet Relief Area across from gate D10. No need to leave security. It's small but sanitary and does the job. All airports should have this.
- Santi CaamañoJune 2, 2015Migrations takes waaay too much time! One from standing in the migrations line until I got thru customs. Luckily there's free open wifi.
- Wait until after 4:30 and it clears out. Good wine selection. Senator Lounge buffet has hot and cold items.

- Chipotle stopped serving breakfast! Sure their eggs were always mad runny but free range chorizo!? Yum. Drop a complaint to chipotle.com.
- Somedays I feel like a real ninja and I can do anything I put my mind to. That and the sassy pants don't hurt
- Watch out for the "shark-cars". They are so cute! (The white transport busses going from gate to gate)

- The Dulles Diamond Security Point referenced in the other tip WAS amazing and convenient for frequent flyers but now they allow anyone so it gets just as backed up as any other checkpoint. So sad...
- Find the PotBelly Sandwich shop in the United Terminal and bring a bag of chocolate chip cookies to your destination. Everyone will love you for it.
- If you're TSA Pre and traveling with someone who is not go to pre check and your companion can use the neighboring aisle....faster than the downstairs mess!!!
- One of the best structured airports allowing incoming & outgoing passengers in one directions. It resembles the Chennai, India airport.

- Andre' MosleyJune 23, 2014If you are headed to C-Gates, make sure you get on the last tram. This is closest to the walkway entrance.
- To get to C concourse, take the people mover to concourse D and then walk to your C gate. Likely same or less walking and no trains, escalators or stairs.
- Get Global Entry, otherwise get ready to stand in an hour plus immigration line for international arrivals.

- AlexApril 6, 2017The "mobile lounges" need to go. There's nothing worse than being the first off a flight only to get dumped out into one of these infernal diesel-fume-filled relics that waits 20+ minutes to leave.
- Don't take SuperShuttle...you may have to wait 30-60 minutes for a van even with a reservation. Take the MetroBus or WashingtonFlyer bus to Metrorail instead....its cheaper and faster to the city.
- Even with trains shuttling you to the different terminals, it's still a walk to get from the trains to the actual terminal. Be prepared to pick up your pace!
- Be extra early and get Global Entry/TSA Pre-check to save yourself some time.
- People mover for terminal D and the underground train for terminal C. But you can walk between both terminals so grab the least crowded option.
