- Passengers would really appreciate free wi-fi internet. Otherwise, you just feel you're in a tiny little airport from some tiny little town... And not edinburgh's. :-/

- When Dropping Off make sure you have £1 and don't pay by card. You can only Drop Off in the Drop Off area

- Almost calm, sane and tolerable at 8am, waiting for 9am flight. And daylight too!
- The new airport security (introduced in November 2014) is very slow. Expect long queues and frustated people 😔

- There's a Costa and whsmith near gates 1a-c. Use to avoid the crowds
- Try the seating area opposite Costa near gate 11. A little oasis of calm!

- Much improved security and 2 hours free wifi with one time registration.
- If you have speedy boarding with easyjet, you can use fast track security.
- Inmediately after you go past the door after the security, there is a water fountain to refill your water bottles.
- If you're a pilot of a commercial jet going to Edinburgh, this is a great place to land.
- To charge your phone, head to Gate 23 where there are spare plug sockets hiding behind the wooden chairs.
- Cheapest way to the town centre is the bus no. 35 from stand 21. Remember exact change. Fastest is bus no. 100 from stand 19. It has a ticket stand.
- If you buy speedy boarding for Easyjet flight you can use the priority security channel
