Jeanene GenusaAugust 25, 2019Needs some upgrades which are in process. You can get a flight anywhere from the airport. Concourse B has the best food at Dookie’s Place
If you use the priority line for concourse C you don't have to go through the scanners. Metal detector only.
TSA makes you take your belt off at this airport; ridiculous, this isn't Europe!

Make SURE you are in the right security line. Hard to tell when lines are long.

NOLA’s airport is old and showing its wear. There is a lack of power outlets, decent food (which is sad for NOLA), and the security can get overwhelmed. Time for the new one to open (if it ever does)

Waited 90 minutes for a rental car & there were no flights to New York after 11:30 AM on a Monday. Seemed weird for a major city. Go to Baton Rouge if you need more flexibility.

The baggage claim area is dark, gloomy, and not very welcoming... And some lady just fell down in front of me... Wet floors lol
Such a shame for them to let the state flag fly in shreds ! Needs to be replaced...
