Bone marrow here steals the show. Sitting at the bar is by far the best experience with a great view of the kitchen.

This is the first time I've ever had a 2 course desert. The tasting menu is less expensive than some but very good, particularly if you sit in the kitchen.

Great brunch vibe. Eggs and tomato is a winner. Tasty chicken salad sandwich. Jalapeño Bloody Mary FTW. Avoid the meatballs though.

Staple of the east village. Excellent seasonal food and a very good Riesling menu. Prices are a bit high.

The stars at Hearth are the pasta (especially gnocchi) and the vegetables. Order based on that and you'll be very happy.

Solid place but pricey. Beef consommé had lots of depth of flavor but beef tartare was bland. Hake was cooked really well, crispy skin and tender. Service really slow cos they're really busy.

The food was either boring or over-salted. Or we just picked all the wrong dishes (or an off night): macaroni, meatballs, sweet potato, and ribollita

Reserve gnocchi in advance, they're the best I've had in NYC or Italy. Save room for dessert, especially for the apple cider donuts.

I... miss the old Hearth menu. There, I said it. Gnocchi is still timeless, but most of the new dishes could use work - ribollita looked like baby food, bread was disappointing, portions minuscule.

Nothing too special about the food (which are overly salty I think), but good dining environment and service. Prepare for an average 60-80 dollars per person
