- ZaneNovember 18, 2012If you carry any toys in your bag, try to refrain from brining foam nerf bullets. I had a few in my bag the security pulled me over to the side and asked if i had ammo and replied "yes but just foam"
- If you have to use the restroom, hold it until you get to your next city. Or find a crack den... It will be cleaner.
- Wait out the airport traffic in the cell phone lot at 96th and Vicksburg and have whomever you're picking up wait at the curb once they have their luggage.

- If you're on a long layover, Encounters is the best place to wait it out. Barbarella-style 70's decor with a view of the runways makes you feel like the swinging jet-setter you are.

- LAX Terminal 6 has the most power outlets you will find in any North American airport. It's also incredibly loud so don't plan on too many productive business calls.
- michael simmonsAugust 12, 2014Use the cut-across road (left side exit located just after y get into the airport)to get to United airlines terminal 6 and 7.
- Green line bus takes you right under the runway. If you are lucky you can have a flight land right above you!
- Look for the underground train. It takes you from terminal to terminal with out having to go out side. They have golf carts down there moving people and bags around.
- Joshua Herzig-MarxNovember 18, 2016Terminal 3 is terrible: small, crowded, insufficient security stations, long lines, few amenities, and in desperate need of a revamp. But the dog walk area is a nice treat to get outside in the AM.
- Lemonade at gate 52 is always delish! Especially when it comes to vegetarian options. Try the chili!
- When coming to pick up the wife or girlfriend always bring a dozen red roses. That's how I roll.
- With the new machines, I was able to clear the borders (for entry) in no time 👍🏻
- When on an escalator, stand on right, walk on left. Put your bag in front of you. You never know when you're blocking someone from the flight they need to catch.

- Come early just in case drop-off traffic and security is impacted! Pretty much smooth sailing afterwards ✌🏾
- Tom Bradley International Terminal seems just revamped, very good environment and with free wi-fi and nice DFS.
- Great airport, free wifi, good coffee, plenty of places to hide out
- Airports are great places to prepare for a presentation. Visit the newsstand and read a book, paper or magazine for timely items. Customize the presentation with fresh news or ideas.
- Patrick LeeDecember 10, 2012Sometimes at night, its easier to have family pick you up in the departure deck rather than on the arrivals. Very few people are on the departure and it's less confusing for the person who is coming.

- Jenny MoomooJuly 13, 2015This place is crazy . be ready to swap gates.TSA is a little bit more specific any other airport I have been too which is expected, so be ready for instructions.
- At the Tom Bradley international terminal (B) there is only 1 small bar after you go through security so if you're looking for food or drink, get it in the main public area.
- Breathe deep: LA has that amazing sweet, desert air. And make sure your sunglasses are within easy reach.
- Hint: Your gate number will tell you what terminal you're in. Gate 15 is in Terminal 1. Gate 64 is in Terminal 6. If your gate begins with a B, you're in the Bradley International Terminal.
- The airport club lounges are great place to meet A-listers and pharmaceutical reps while getting a decent continental breakfast.
- Terminal 3 has a ‘Dog Relief’ area after security. It’s a good place to sit outside and catch some sun between flights.
- United has a Marmalade Cafe, a Kitson & a Coffee Bean. It's like "Little LA", but no traffic, panhandlers, or effing Umami Burgers. #onlythegoodstuff
- Johnny at the first security check point for USAir and Southwest is the best. Ask him about his golf game.
- IrinaAugust 14, 2014LAX is like a Frankenstein's monster: too big, too patchy, too disjointed, and too inescapable (unless you have a private air strip). But don't fret: you'll get through it.

- Wojciech SkrokJanuary 25, 2015Good? That in every seat in Tom Bradley International Terminal (Departures) is USB plug in for chargers. But worse that there isn't Smoking Area at all after security check! BE AWARE!
- Rated one of the most dangerous airports in America. In dire need of updated which they are thankfully. Still is our doorway to the world.
- If you're flying Southwest & don't have your boarding pass already, stop @ the kiosk by the door. Then you can go in the Express Lane if you need to check a bag. Faster than the full service line!
