- Erin MDecember 3, 2013Correction: you cannot now ALWAYS use your mobile device. You may if you are travelling on a US carrier. All other carriers have different rules and most have not passed this law yet.
- come early. airlines have a cut off time for when they accept checked baggage and when you can check in. any later and you pay to change flights since you were late. not to mention the security line.

- The designer of the men’s bathroom in new terminal 1 should be forced to use it just once. And than forced to stay In it for the day as punishment for his failure on layout for the toilets.
- Decent airport. Lounges here are awesome. The stores are often super far away from the departing gates. No smoking areas inside is a downer too.

- But e-tickets get in and out ASAP bring print out of confirmation and keep on pushing yikes pay for luggage one time online and save that money so you can focus on other things
- The international terminal is outstanding. Excellent people watching and plane spotting to be had.
- Was able to get from arrival terminal at Virgin Air to International departure terminal via tunnels. Didn’t have to go past security, was very helpful.
- Corey RosemondSeptember 29, 2013If you travel more than 5 times a year I strongly suggest signing up for TSA-Pre. They don't collect anything more than the government already has ;)
- If landing at Tom Bradley and have a quick domestic connection, make sure to request a expression connection pass.
- Check out a plethora of chain restaurants & shops like Chili's, On The Border, Starbucks, etc. These shining examples of banality are the keys to American Culture future archeology will study. Weep.
- You can easily spend your entire layover in line for a latte. You're better off just hitting one of the expensive bars for a morning drink. If it has OJ, it's a breakfast food.
- If you're riding a rental bus to your terminal it may be faster to get out at Terminal 1 and just walk. Driving between the terminals is always bumper to bumper so the bus can take forever.
- May N.April 8, 2013For an airport this size w/the # of domestic and int'l passengers coming through, it's pretty deplorable and disorganized. Give yourself extra time dropping off your rental and taking the shuttle.

- For Backpackers: Go Airport or Super Shuttle are available outside at the curb for a cheap ride. USA Hostels Hollywood is a brilliant stay for a great price and atmo and perfect location

- Maxim PodbereznyyApril 6, 2012If you return a rental car then use a shuttle bus to get to LAX. The bus will bring you right to the necessary airline company and you will not have to wonder around this huge airport.
- You can walk between all terminals 4 through 8. This really expands your dining and drinking options!
- Ron MendozaMay 15, 2016Uber and Lyft can pick you up from LAX, and the pick up area is actually on Level 2 Departures (much less busy).
- Don't underestimate the walk to gates 80-88 ...it's a long haul. But good news...there are food and shops right by the gates. So don't feel like you have to grab food by the 70s gates.

- Keep an eye out for one of the 7 airlines flying A380s here - tied for most unique A380 operators at a single airport in the world.
- All the outlets on those Samsung charging stations occupied? Not to fret -- there are power outlets to be found at LAX. Just gotta keep your eyes open. Tip: bring a power strip and share an outlet.
- The newish LAX-it (LA exit) way of getting to the rideshare pickup seems painful but isn’t bad. Better than the mess it was before.
- Paisano0506April 6, 2015Checking bags was easy, just have boarding passes ready before you get here. TSA was a breeze, took only 20 minutes. If it takes you forever to go thru, most likely it is your fault.
- SamsoniteMay 3, 2011Keep in mind that LAX's daily travel peak periods are from 6:30 a.m. to 9:00 a.m. for domestic flights, 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m. for domestic and international flights.
- Everything is good here new fresh excellent shops it's not an airport it's a shopping mall and bars
- Act like a pro traveller when going in to TSA security. Remove laptop, shoes, belt, jacket in one tray & the carry on bag next to it! :)
- Walk around the different arrival terminals to find an empty spot for waiting. Right before the exit gaps is ideal!
- I usually fly Delta, and the Delta terminals are undergoing renovations. This airport is always crazy busy with inadequate seating and restrooms. Food options have improved more recently.
- Get TSA PRE ✅ and then laugh at everyone else who doesn't have TSA PRE✅. At Terminal 2, you can get from curbside thought security in less than 5 minutes. How the airport experience should be!
- Instead of driving around in circles while trying to pick someone up, you can park at the airport Encounter restaurant and wait if there are parking spots available.
- V VAugust 21, 2012Croissant Egg&Cheese and French Toast Sticks at Backlot Bar are Awesome breakfast eats!
- On a busy night it can take an hour to drive once around World Way so don't warn your friend who is picking you up because you might lose your ride.

- You can now goes from Bradley terminal to terminal 4,5,6,and 7 after security. Tips go to terminal 4 which is American Airlines and walk to Bradley terminal for faster security.
