Dave Santos is 1 of the best kept secrets in NYC. Few chefs have his cooking chops. The menu is packed w/surprises. Fond of House-made Ricotta, Piri Piri Shrimp, Pork Tonnato and Octopus Bolognese.

Totally unassuming but remarkable food. The starter of carrots was so simple yet so good. The venison was prepared perfectly. Loved the ambiance, great service. It creeped into my top ten list.

The most delicious. By far. And warm wonderful atmosphere-- the waitstaff is food friendly and just fucking mellow, chill - but it's the duck fat on tap, that keeps you coming back.

Great dinner for a great price. I loved the short rib and the gnocchi was light as air. If you're lucky to get James as your waiter ask him to make your beer blow you a bubble.

The tasting menu is inconsistent--some really yummy courses, some only ok)--but overall decent value ($65 for six courses).

I really liked this place. The pork butter that comes with the bread tastes like tonkotsu ramen. Don't miss the gnocchi with the extra truffle on top.
