Get here early to get through security or really you may miss your flight!
Veronica RamshawMarch 3, 2013Be warned: Though the airport's website still says otherwise, Boingo is NOT supported here anymore. Was really pissed to show up assured it would work only to have to buy a day pass anyways.
I suggest using elevator to sky train no one is ever on them and gets you upstairs quicker
Priority access is the same as regular access. Plan accordingly. They don't care if you are late for a flight.

Vip lounges at concourse J closes at 3pm? Terrible. Also you cant go to other concourses after you pass security. You either enter concourse F and leave to yours after or no use for VIP lounges.

No alcohol bottles allowed when going through security. Even if it's duty free. Check it w luggage under the plane. Save yourself the trouble of being checked or losing your bottles.
What's the point of having a "people mover" train if you still have to walk 10-20 minutes from the station to check in?
Cuban Restaurant named La Carreta. Try a Arroz Imperial(imperial rice). SoOoOoOo good. Delishhh

Bags take FOREVER to get to baggage claim. Get a drink and/or meal before heading to claim your bags.

The new south terminal is quite nice. Huge improvement from the center terminal. Great food ct and even a hugo boss store.

La Carretta and Cafe Versailles are your two best food options here

Long walks (15+ minutes), poor signage. My best advice is to avoid MIA if possible. If not, pay for a SmarteCart if you are going to/from parking or car rentals.
