Mike BassMay 27, 2013Concourse E is old and has few food choices (no good ones IMO). Concourse D is much nicer and has many shops and restaurants.
What ever you do, DO NOT let Lisa T P eat beans and rice from La Carreta if you value clean air!

Edward BurchJune 5, 2015Promised smoking area after security by AA connecting flight personnel (3 people). Only to be lies at 6am. Happy if I never to return here.
Traffic is always a pain due to construction, check google maps before you hop on a cab so they don't the slow route
Ice Box Cafe or new Shulas in terminal D are best bites for decent eats.
Waited over 45 minutes after landing before a gate finally opened up for us to deplane. Ridiculous.

This place has vastly improved because of the installation of skytrain. Very smart move MIA! Now to fix the REST of public transit!
Security line for AA are terrible like 300 yards or more. Go with time!!
Nick RoosenNovember 16, 2011Give yourself plenty of time to get to your gate. Everything seems far away at MIA.
American has crappy amenities and a terrible check in service but the staff at the security lines helped us get to our departure gate fast. Service to Canada is really prompt.
If you are flying out on Delta you will be at the H gates. If you need to transfer to AA you will have to go through security again. :(

Kat DohertyMay 25, 2014World's most unorganized and rude airport...worse than JFK/ NYC and LAX combined! Try not to deal with this hellhole. They always loose luggage and baggage claim takes a minimum of 2 hours.

This airport is much maligned, but I have generally not had bad experiences here. It can be crowded and chaotic at times.
Brianna DanceMarch 28, 2014Customs and immigration from my Dominican Republic flight were terrible. Not only were the lines extremely long and confusing, but we had to re-check our checked baggage, which made everything longer.

SOUTH FLORIDA HAS THE WORLD'S WORST TSA!!!! I travel with the exact same things every time I carry on, yet they're on the only ones who ever feel the need to throw away my things. HATE.
