- imbookinOctober 11, 2011A great place to host a kid's bday party! Have an adventurous little one? Alien Stingers is the space for it. Or oggle over the cute penguins, seals, otters at the sea cliffs!

- HeatherMay 30, 2012Not the greatest aquarium, but the jellyfish are cool (in the "aliens" exhibit). The sea lions put on a pretty good show.
- Kiley StevensJanuary 27, 2014Only about 40% of the museum is open right now due to reconstruction from Super Storm sandy
- ClareApril 11, 2012I was hoping for a bit more, but it was still quite fascinating. There were too many kids, though, and it definitely hindered the experience
- SoB NY Chapter PresMay 14, 2012Go to the Seaside Cafe and buy a Souvenir Cup for unlimited free refills
- PatrickFebruary 2, 2010Buy your tickets online. It costs a bit more, but the line for tickets is usually pretty long. It's worth the few bucks to not stand in line.
- Rugi (Sebnem Shirley Arslan)October 2, 2012It would be amazing if there could be also the dolphins...:)
- Lisa CucinottaAugust 3, 2013Due to construction from Sandy damage most of the aquarium is closed so expect a short trip
- Suzette CorinneMay 28, 2013Just reopened after the Sandy damage. Only about 50% open but we need to support our local businesses!
- Greg KensingtonSeptember 17, 2014Very small. Still recovering from Sandy but currently at a reduced price for tickets.
- Tom JosephApril 24, 2015Decent collection of sealife, fun for a quick tour and fairly cheap but nothing special
- Silvia S.June 30, 2013Don't bother going until 2015 which is when the reconstruction is to be finished. They have no exhibitions open since hurricane Sandy, except for some fish aquariums, walrus & seals. Waste of time.
- Jonathan LowrieMay 26, 2013Sadly not much open after Sandy. Very sad. Best of luck to the NY Aquarium!
- Marina UgoliniApril 27, 2011Very short day. Wasn't much to do here. It wasn't very expensive but we were done in 1.5 hrs. That makes it better on the little ones with short attention spans.
- Aaron BatchelderJuly 7, 2016Not worth going until the facilities are finished. $5 or less would have been a way better price point for what you get.
- PatrickFebruary 2, 2010Visit the otter feeding. The keepers are friendly and will show you otter tricks and answer questions about the otters.
- Brazen LingerieOctober 10, 2010Get a membership that includes free parking. Visit aquarium & then go to the beach or Coney Island.
- Sean SullivanFebruary 18, 2012The line in the cafe is ridiculous. I am waiting about 25-30 mins just to get a water and coffee. Slowest service I have ever encountered. There were only about 10 people in front of me too. :(
- Roberto MarchiJuly 23, 2016Unfortunately, after the hurricane, the Acquarium is not worth the visit!...
- Josh HubballSeptember 10, 2010SKIP the 4-D movie experience, especially if you have kids under the age of 6.
