Go to Five Guys for fries if you're in gates 35-45 for the best deal on food. It's hiding in the back, behind Gordon Biersch
Come early, security lines are always long during popular business travel times
Avoid the "priority" security line in terminal B. It blends the pre-check and military lines with Premier making it the slowest line at the terminal
Going to DC..fly into Reagan rather than Dulles. Much more convenient and nicer plus cleaner.

If you're flying out of gates 23-34, don't expect a healthy breakfast or good coffee!
National is typically a pleasure to fly in/out of. TSA is efficient & your fellow travelers typically are seasoned travelers, so there's less BS. Needs more Pre✔️lanes since everyone in DC has it.
If flying southwest, be prepare to go back in time. Terminal is very old and eat before you get here.

Tsa has qr scanners. Works with boarding passes on your phone.
There's a Potbelly's in the United terminal. Delicious!
