If you love the original Russ & Daughters you'll love the café. Ordered one of the platters, white fish soup, and some potato pancakes. It was delicious!

Soooo Good, could spend hours eating here, but could never afford to eat every delicious dish they serve. Wish it was closer to where I live, I would be there all the time

Coffee soda is sweet, fizzy, and delicious. Add milk for an egg cream like experience. Like Vietnamese coffee but bubbly!

the classic smoked salmon diy sandwitch is amazing. the salmon here has the best quality in nyc. you can buy those same ingredients in their shop and cook it yourself

The shtetl was very good, but it was disappointing to me that it came like this, everything separate. It isn't that much fun to put your sandwich together. Great service.

lox, eggs, and onions comes out as an omelette. if you want the full slice of salmon flesh, get the lower sunny side. potato latkes are killer.

Bloody mary is good but not amazing like others are saying. I had the dill vodka bloody mary and the lox bagel. Both are good, but not amazing.

The Eggs Benny is served on Challah instead of the usual English muffin. My skepticism disappeared after the first bite - it's amazing.

If you like sweets, try the bobka French toast. Cold borscht soup is really good. Chicken matzoh ball is hearty. Potato latkes are too thick to be hot inside. We tried Russ once, may not come back...
