- Tim OteroMarch 31, 2016Surprised to see the tea is teabags, not loose tea. First time I've ever seen that in a Chinese restaurant. Food is decidedly ordinary.
- Kara PriceMarch 20, 2013Fantastic French Blossom martini! The crab was mediocre, but it's possible that I had high expectations due to the hype.
- Deanna SchoberSeptember 15, 2011R&G special beef was great, but the fried lemon chicken was our favorite by far. Very good.
- Chalisa BoonMay 29, 2013I order golden fried rice and pineapple fried rice and it is so plain. Avoid fried rice and you are doing fine. I enjoyed all the other menu.
- Hilque DairoNovember 7, 2011One of the oldest and best Chinese restaurants in San Francisco Bay Area.... Food so great!!!:-)
- Lauren HJanuary 16, 2010ok hi, I was filmed during the no reservations episode here, so I'm pretty much famous. trust me: deep fried crab, steamed clams + eggs, pork/dried fish fried patty. no regrets.
- King Yiu ChuAugust 11, 2018Don’t bother eating here. This place sucks big time. Not sure why they have such a high rating but it’s a disgrace for the Chinese kitchen! Peking duck my ass, doesn’t tastenlike it at all!
- EveApril 18, 2014Overpriced,greasy food:(Walnut shrimp was good but salt & pepper crab bland, not one bite of duck meat on the Peking duck just fat, skin & bone. There are far better places to go so give this a miss
- Colby MelissaAugust 19, 2011The spring rolls are fantastic! Everything here is great. Worth the wait!!
- Stanton CadyMay 27, 2013Apparently if you don't have a reservation, you're SOL. If you get the shaft, steal candy!
- Never ate anything here I didn't like. Try the beef brisket and turnip hot pot....yummy comfort food
- Paul LichtJuly 29, 2011This place is NOT pricey and food is great. Quality costs. Cheapskates stay home. More for us
- GrantNovember 15, 2009Chinese name of the restaurant means south of the peak house. this place is regarded as top Chinese restaurant in the city, always packed!
- RenoOctober 23, 2009Eat downstairs, Order the baked crab that was featured on Antohny Bourdain's "No Reservations" TV show. Great subterrainian atmosphere!
