Long walks between terminals. Good choice of restaurants and stores. No free wifi.
Currently loads of constructions going on to make the airport even better!

With whatever the reason, the security checks in Schiphol airport are willing to touch my body as GAY.
Best place in Schipol to try original Dutch food. The have really nice, warm dishes, poffertjes are a must! Order something and sit on a big chair or inside a tea cup! Fun and delicious!
Security is at each individual gate. Very different from any airport I've been in!
EasyJet has its own terminal with no stores or places to sit.... very frustrating
If you're really hungry: The large Belgian fries with mayonaise are excellent at the fries place at Schiphol Plaza.
There was no time to check anything, as the que through security was 2h long

MarianNovember 17, 2014Aside from indifference and racist condescension of too many KLM staff, I noticed the Perfume and Cosmetics shop not only doesn't carry shades for brown and black women; they don't even wait on you.
The food fair on Sunday night is not time-economical nor efficient - you'd do better going to something closer to your gate - exception is the noodle bar- most people opt for burger king.

Joni DuranDecember 6, 2010Flying home to a non eu destination? Visit customs in departure hall 2 before check-in to get your purchase receipts stamped. Then drop off receipts at service wings to get a refund of your 19% vat :)
Get your stroopwaffels in the Albert Heijn before passing through security.
