Ozan VuralDecember 13, 2013There is a 7/24 open and free smoking room, ask for it. The cheese prices are cheapier then Amsterdam shops. 1 hour free wi-fi. No liquid allowed on the customs even if you buy from duty-free.

I’m sure this airport used to be better. Feels like an average experience these days. Central security search often backed up - so leave plenty of time to get through! Aircraft take forever to taxi.
D CFebruary 6, 2011If your layover is longer than 5 hours make time to go downtown. Return ticket is cheaper. 15-20 minutes each way. Well worth the effort.
Nice lounge chairs to sleep on behind the KLM transfer desk near Gate C.

Enjoy the tarmac taxiing. May be one of the world's longest gate approaches.

DeeDecember 15, 2018Worse experience i had in an airport .. very long queues.. on-boarding process is too complicated so you really need to come three hours prior your departure .. and Good Luck because you need it 🙂

Massage-O-Matic seats can be a relief during layovers. €2 per 5 minutes.
Maureen at the Dutch Bar by the E gates is awesome. Good place to meet fellow travelers too.
