- Mark LeeAugust 26, 2018Exceptionally brilliant Lufthansa tight connections service for their/Star Alliance partners. Whisks you [ & chkd luggage separately ]to connecting flight where necessary via Border/Customs controls.
- 4 Drop off, follow signs 4 the required (Departure:Abflug, Arrivals:Ankunft). Drop-off Area. parking r located directly in front of the doors to Terminal 1 & 2. First 10 minutes r FOC.
- KristianNovember 10, 2016Didn't find/need Wi-Fi. Very big airport so they've done a great job on moving ppl from one terminal to the next. Through largesse this place works!
- Daniel RoyMay 7, 2017Great, modern airport. Keep in mind that if you're flying from a Shengen country and leaving the Eurozone on the next flight, you'll have to go through passport control.
- Neha OdedraAugust 31, 2014Airportz good..u ll probably end up using money for food.. do BRING EUROS coz most restaurant wud giv u back change in local currency which wont be useful if ur nt there for long..
- DiogoJune 20, 2018Several WCs were not available and I had to walk very far to find one. Very messy boarding organization.
- Umut Koray TuncayMarch 27, 2017They made me threw out my Zippo's inside mechanism, which I carried through many airports including Heathrow, JFK, La Guardia, Milano Bergamo and Istanbul Ataturk. So, safety first?
- Lil DragonMay 29, 2018Had to walk a lotttt to get to my connecting gate. Good part is there was free WiFi and these comfy pods to relax in.
- Petra BosJuly 7, 2015Best airport I know: free coffee at the gates, free 24 hours WIFI, and wonderful lounge area with lounge chairs.
- mizz linDecember 25, 2016No clear cut signs on which platform 4 direct train into Frankfurt.Help desk not always open, pay extra 2 ask the Travel Centre for advice. Tip: press English option at machine, use platform 1 to city
- Good airport with a lot of things to do there. You can buy some souvenirs or fashion clothes and eating sushi.
- Kevin DicksonMarch 23, 2015Great place for kids and I'm so thankful for the free coffee stands - even if they feel hidden. Well worth looking for them!
- Oğuz A.October 30, 2017A disappointment in terms of shopping choices and operations. 2 passport checks at arrival (first one just outside of the plane) must have been designed as additional deterrent. Small choice of shops.
- Abdullah AljumaAugust 17, 2015Its a good airport depending on which terminal you're flying from. Ask for the skybridge to transfer between terminals.. Because it's well hidden.
- I don't understand why people complain about this airport. It's efficient & clean, passport control is fast and Lufthansa employees are fantastic
- If you are an American citizen going go the Z gates there is a random search area at the top of the escalators right after Z security! Put your passport in your pocket immediately and keep walking!
- Hana Feberia 🐻March 5, 2017Really love this airport, love the ambiance, I only have to take ICE (speed train) to Leipzig or wherever I wish to go ❤
- It's gotten much better, the AirRail means the marathons from gates A to D are a thing of the past, and the food is top. Otherwise, still good old FRA with its morning fog.
- Lufthansa is a great company but the Frankfurt airport service is not up to the standard. Long queue everywhere. You should be careful when having a connection flight.
- Brecht De WeirdtJanuary 24, 2020You will need the 2hrs lay-over if you have an incoming non-eu flight, very thorough security check, long immigration queue, long distance to cover
- You can get a 24 hours free wifi internet hotspot access across the entire Frankfurt Airport. Just be sure to select the 'tmobile' or the 'Telekom' wifi hotspot. Enjoy!!
- Nina AlbaFebruary 1The best thing I saw in frankfurt airport that it has a place to pray for all religions ❤️
- Jason NelsonMay 19, 2019This entire place smells like a toilet. If you need to make a connection plan an hour for the bus rides through the runways, twists and turns through small hallway mazes and hauling luggage up stairs.
- Shannon O'DonnellSeptember 27, 2014This airport is huge. Despite how well traveled you think you are, you will still need at least 2 hours before boarding to get to your gate. I'd your easily confused, add more time!
- I like this airport. It has everything you need for your flight. I got even a picture gifted the last I was here. Still don't know why
- OlialiaJanuary 25, 2015Never take a short-transit connecting international flight there!I felt like a marathon participant, while running to the other end of the airport to catch up my flight!Slowest security check ever!!!!
- Katrina TorrefrancaOctober 20, 2016Good airport w/ lots of coffee shops & inernet... Be there with enough time cause the security and immigration counters can be slow.
- Best food, fresh & tasty, to go or eat in: Meyer Feincost, just after security to the left (Terminal 1 A). Delicious soups, Sandwiches, Salads, Sweets.
- Levent ErtogluOctober 26, 2014No cafes or restaurants after 10 PM. Be quick during connection flights as it may take almost 30 mins to reach your terminal
- The gates can be up to 25 minutes apart, ensure you factor in the time!
- You can be lucky and everything works smoothly or be unlucky and this airport is horrible. Long waiting times at checkin, security control and delays occur frequently.Get your shit together, Fraport!
- Talal BusaidiAugust 19, 2014Free Wifi available with high speed. Huge airport and very easy to find your gate and reach. 30 min connection flight you can make it.
- Kapt’n KokoMay 7, 2018Clean and efficient. Wander around if you have a connection, great shops and great food.
- On terminal 1 there's a nice deli called "Meyer" with fresh beetroot salads and fresh juice!
- Terminal2 means always less waiting time to get to the gate. Tax free refund desks are quite busy before far east flights, try the ones after the security check.
- Mikke MusOctober 20, 2017Lots of shops and restaurants.. but the corridors are endless. Bring sneakers and make sure you calculate enough time to find ur gate
- Sid DesaiDecember 28, 2019If you are darker than khaki, regardless of if you have EasyPASS-RTP, a first-class ticket, etc. Be prepared to be sent to secondary screening. It's nothing serious just be ready.
- Talal BusaidiAugust 19, 2014Electronic boarding machines available making process very smooth and fast. Also free coffee machine available at waiting gates!
- This was a great security line. I was glad it moved very slowly so I could enjoy it more.
- Terminal 1, Level 2 towards Gate 50-68 there is a nice quiet "Leisure Zone" at the beginning.
- john.asj.meJanuary 25, 2019Tax free here is at the entrance area and second after passport control. Have your bills stamped and must carry the original bill and purchases with you. Otherwise they wont stamp it.
- My home airport: huge, long walks, unhelpful counter staffs, plenty of in-needed stores, and just a commodity one uses out of necessity.
- firestartrOctober 4, 2014This is a huge airport & complicated airport. Figure out where your terminal & gate are first - food and shopping needs to come second or it could cost you your flight!
- ELLEJuly 21, 2015The lounge chairs are more comfortable than most, some of them are even "recliners" in the sense that they are angled at about 45° & make for a decent way to catch a little sleep during a long layover
- One of the few aiports in the world which have free coffee and tea vending machines (check terminal A)
- An airport built up at the expense of passenger comfort. Changing planes here can easily take 1 hour of running around long passage ways. Not a viable hub for international journeys
- The airport is huge. 1 hour is an absolute minimum for connection. Do not hesitate to ask people to let you go in front of the security check line if you short on time
- Don't buy a coffee / tea from coffee shops, many free Lufthansa coffee / tea machines are there waiting for you to drink 😊
