Jon B.January 6, 2019Give yourself plenty of time if connecting from EU to US flights, as the transfer between terminals is a bit cumbersome.
Don't buy a coffee / tea from coffee shops, many free Lufthansa coffee / tea machines are there waiting for you to drink 😊

Wafa AzmiJanuary 7, 2020For muslims, note that prayer rooms are only available near the arrival and departure gates. Once you go outside, there’ll be no prayer rooms available for you.
Messy lounges. Access from gates A to B and reverse is a huge hassle (queuing for elevators - if you choose the stairs is a burden & then the long corridor)! Not a passenger friendly airport.

Good airport with a lot of things to do there.You can buy some souvenirs or fashion clothes and eating sushi.

I don't understand why people complain about this airport. It's efficient & clean, passport control is fast and Lufthansa employees are fantastic
. The perrenial shortage of jetways and all the "hard stands" of planes and the required shuttle busses is endlessly frustrating. choose a different airline and connect through a different hub.
First travel in 6months and looks like folks have been managing airport real good (C19 impact management)
The connection hub in europe. Very big airport can be problematic if you have short connection times.
If "B" border control counter and as well automatic passport lanes are crowded at the left hand side. Further lanes are at the right 👉

Arrive at least 2 hours earlier. It’s serious otherwise you may lose your time between lines and missing your flight ✈️ !

Finally back at FRA, everything just runs perfectly without hassels und long waits! Other airports can learn a lot from here! Love being here!
Think about getting wifi for free? In your dream! Give you access with complicated registration. With all advance technology they have, wifi for free is not one of them

Sweaty runs through long tunnels. Never know how far from your connecting flight gate they will drop you off. Sandwiches only.

Xin RogoAugust 6, 2019If you are transitting non-schengen make sure you have plenty of time Terminal Z is in Timbuktu and can get 25 mins to get to other terminals. Once efficient now is a third world disaster centre.😒
