    Don't underestimate the simple things here. The bread. The veggies. Don't get me wrong try goat, pig face, etc but the basics are delicious as well!

    Everything is amazing!!!! I recommend Shrimp zucchini pasta for appetizer, Goat belly for main course and pumpkin pie gelato for desert.

    I was worried that this Chicago mainstay would be tired after so many years, but it's still so, so good. It was easy for me to get a seat at the bar as a party of 1.

    Interesting goat dishes, like goat carpaccio. The pork shank was incredibly crispy yet tender, and goat cheesecake with pretzel crust were worth ordering again!

    I love this place, and its definitely somewhere you need to go eat at when in Chicago. I recommend you to speak to your waiter and they can suggest the perfect dishes for you.

    You can not go wrong with any item in the menu, except the tiramisu.. Definitely try duck tongue, scallops, and chickpea dish.. sooo good!

    Hard to find a open table, interesting food options. Try the breads, goat options and beans. Dont forget the desserts. Slightly overhyped overall

    A lot of meat! Goat empanadas were alright, pork shank was amazing, pork face was mm alright wouldn't try again. The best of all was octopus salad. Really good.

    Squash blossom excellent. kohlrabi salad a bit overdressed but also excellent. Goat belly with crab yummy. A must place to eat in Chicago

    Lived up to the hype. Miso bread, green beans, pig face, and the beef tongue were great. Even the dessert was delicious. Can't wait to go back.

    Roasted cauliflowers are amazing! Note that fish, seafood, and meat items are smaller and more tasteful, while the veggies are larger and more filling.

    The beet salad was fabulous! We also enjoyed the pork shank and the green beans. The plantain cake was kind of weird, I'd pass on that dessert next time.

    Girl & the Goat is one of my top restaurants in Chicago! Prezel bread, cod cheeks, sugo, pork ribs and of course dessert = amazing! Wine selection is reasonable and not too pricey.

    The dishes were good, but nothing wowed me off my feet. My favorite of our 8 dishes was the string beans. It’s the only dish that’s been on the menu since opening.

    Food was good, definitely worth the wait and struggle to get a reservation, but not your typical restaurant… More complex flavors and ingredients, the simple taste buds will not understand

    For entertainment during your meal, ask to sit in the back by the kitchen (only seats 2) and watch the bustling preparation. Green beans, scallops and pig face were delicious!!
