- Hal KirklandApril 4, 2013Don't show up at Hertz asking for a rental if you're on fire. They have major issues with open flame regardless of what their bright yellow uniforms and hair extensions imply.
- U AAugust 7, 2014being Hertz Gold member helps, although I didn't get the premium reception/service as I did enjoy in Vegas. car delivery was quick as usual and returning couldn't have been quicker.Upvoted Nov 6
- Fast, nice, everything was so easy and smooth. Is more expensive than other rentals, get your Gold Rewards so you can get something in return
- Daniel L.April 23, 2013The least painful car rental experience ever. Be sure to sign up for their Gold Members program - FREE - and your rental car is waiting for you. No need to go to the pickup line.
- Katie CMay 27, 2014Sign up for the gold card! It's free, and you skip the rental line and go straight to your car...saves 30 minutes at least every time
- Leslie LanaSeptember 23, 2011Return process is quick and easy. Employees are kind and very helpful. There is practically no wait for the shuttle bus and they help loading your bags. Will come back again!
- They will drive your rental car with you in it straight to the terminal if you are running late. For free! Ask for Art and tip him for being so kind.
- Easy to return your car and Pamela, the lady from the Lost and Found is awesome!
- Dima PetevaOctober 4, 2016Recommended car radio: FM93.5 KDayBack In The Day Hip Hop for the right LA soundtrack.
- A good strategy for UPGRADES-- always book on lowest price category, ask for "smart decision" deal, this allows free discretionary upgrade....on shorter rentals offer to take all coverage for top upgr
- Great plane spotting from this location. Awesome views of landing and great sound!
- Great staff, quick service, the shuttle from LAX (versus to LAX, which inevita my get a bigger in traffic).
- Piccy LokeAugust 13, 2019quick and efficient service to get your car. staff was proactive to help us with luggage and send us to the car lot via buggy.
- Jenz MerrillJuly 8, 2013One of the best for Gold customers. However I wish they wouldn't put gold customers in cars in the 8 or 900s too far to walk in the sun with luggage.
- Benjamin RoodmanApril 25, 2014Prepare for misery if you come on a Friday or Saturday. Severely understaffed and the kiosk line moves slower.
- Kelly BoneMay 28, 2013If you're unloading from a LAX shuttle, the surge of people will cause a wait. Otherwise, this is the most efficient car rental operation I've experienced.
- Sean MeehanJanuary 12, 2012Dropping a car is easy. Remember your mileage, leave your keys in the vehicle, and use the kiosk near the airport busses. Prints your receipt in a few seconds.
- Hal KirklandApril 4, 2013Do not hold this photo up to the sales clerks and say "I need one that can do this!". You'll end up with a lawnmower powered Fiat. Which are disastrous for wheelies and impressing ladies below 89 yrs.
- Brett FeinsteinJanuary 8, 2012Graveyard shift is an utter circus. Pray you are a Gold member and your contract is right because if you have a problem and have to go inside, you can expect it to be a trainwreck.
- Andrew BristowMay 22, 2017It's a car rental place, what more do you want. Nice staff and quick shuttle service
- For anyone renting hertz more than two or three times a year, sign up for Gold membership. Quick in, quick out, very little waiting.
- Bree MarieApril 29, 2013Customer service rep Tonya and porter (?) Junnette are fantastic!! They were extremely patient with my sister and I!! <3
- Use the kiosks and interact with a remote customer service rep. The future is now!
- If you upgrade, be sure you ask for unlimited mileage. I got a camaro for a good price, then got hammered on the mileage. You don't get unlimited mileage unless u haggle
- Give yourself extra time on the shuttle into LAX. Traffic will eat into it, especially if you are out of United, Terminal 7.
- Kelly BoneMay 28, 2013Great AAA rates, open 24 hours. Plus, it took about 60 seconds to process my car rental return!
- Moe DexlerSeptember 26, 2014Fast check-in. Bus takes about 7 minutes to get to LAX from the Hertz facility. Plan accordingly.
- Daniel is a stud. He'll hook you up with the the 508. Thanks for helping an angry former Avis user to see the light.
- Claudio GrossoNovember 14, 2014It's located 8 min from the airport, but the area is big e very well prepared to receive the costumers.
- Marcelo MeloJanuary 1, 2013Jeff is one of the best guys that I've met. Talk with him and he'll try to solve your problems!
- Taneshia Carr-RayfordNovember 12, 2013The car wasn't in the parking spot noted on the receipt and as soon as we had to stop and wait for the first traffic light, the car started rattling. Wth!!
- Generally like Hertz, but the new shuttle bus approach at LAX sucks. Picking up and dropping off on the same route is chaotic and slow, especially for us United passengers.
- Crazy busy... But wide selection. Pre-book a specific premium car and go Gold for sure.
- Brad Hefta-GaubFebruary 24, 2013For cheapest gas on way to drop off your rental car, go to Manchester Blvd. don't be sucked in to stations on Sepulvida or Lincoln which at $0.15/gal more!
- If you're running late and ask nicely, they'll drive you to your terminal in your rental car! But ask nice!
- BlaineJune 2, 2015Secretly applied an expensive ‘upgrade’ to our rental reservation — which we neither requested nor approved.
- Anya HigleyAugust 11, 2012Upgraded to a nice convertible for $20/day some kind of special before Saturday :) service was nice and not too slow
- AlastairSeptember 27, 2012Being made to feel like an inconvenience is always a pleasure; remember to smile like an idiot at the service counter.
- Latesha WellsOctober 2, 2013I have AAA so I get Hertz gold, I only see a agent when I drop my car off...gotta love it!!!! :-)
- Ceci VDecember 24, 20118 out of 26 counters open to help people, half the self service 'express' kiosk are out of service which makes little difference actually as they're pathetic anyway & u'll go back to the line
