JY: Read up on the ticket system they use. Don't lose the ticket because not only is it a pain and will come with a fine, NYers don't cut visitors any slack and you will probably be yelled at.
JY: Eat your fill of bagels in NY, only Beauty's Bagels in Oakland comes close in the Bay Area, and this is one of the best places to do so.
JY: Go to the OG Madison Square Park location! Actually my favourite mid-priced burger in the USA. (So far.)

Simon: There are tons of Momofuku options but this one is a classic
JY: Exquisite, well worth the $$$$. Daytime lunch crowd skews very moneyed and Wall Street, both hilarious and uncomfortable.
JY: Currently my favourite casual eatery in the entire city. I came here twice during a 3 day trip.
JY: For atmosphere. Quite popular with younger creatives, at least from what I see on socmed.
JY: If you can't make it to Japan. Plus he does breakfast ramen on weekends which I think is exclusive to his NY restaurants.
JY: I know, so many art museums, but the SF Bay Area is a bit of a cultural desert...
JY: Honestly, the food isn't great, but it's an NY icon and the prices kept many impoverished students, artists fed.
JY: Fun Italian marketplace with supermarket and assorted food stands. Note that you need to put your name down/get a ticket FIRST before nabbing a seat at each stand. It can be quite crowded and nobody will tell you what to do.
Simon: This reincarnation of the World Trade Center features the most exciting ascent I've ever seen for an observation deck. Surpasses Rockefeller Center
Simon: This is actually the only full-fledged Nintendo-run store in North America and is a tourist attraction in itself
