- Arai BuendiaSeptember 15, 2023International terminal, hectic with all the stores leading to the terminal. Get here early especially if you don’t know if you are on standby and find out at the check in desk.
- Although I am not a big fan of Costa coffee they served a beautiful ginger latte that might start the beginning of changing my opinion. It was lovely.
- Ricardo LucianoJune 15, 2018There is a free shuttle that connects the north and south terminal, also a terminal that goes to Victoria station. Plenty of places to have a snack at the airport.
- Ivy BlissNovember 9, 2013Beautiful terminal, with easy access to all connecting points for travelers. Great retail outlets. Not sure why LGW isn't offering free wi-fi to travelers, though.
- Pay attention when getting the Gatwick to London Victoria train. It can be under £15 or almost £20 depending on what train you board.
- Lele BuonerbaDecember 12, 2014Easyjet auto bag drop-off is truly fantastic. Just check-in online and get your bag shipped in minutes from getting to the airport.
- Dan ReznicekFebruary 12, 2015Good improvements, friendly staff, appreciate the wifi and plugs at the gate. But forcing people to navigate through a huge duty free shop on their way to departures is abhorrent.
- Brian LeeJuly 9, 2013Marks and Spencers had an amazing fresh food selection. The best that I have seen in any aiport. Open 24 hrs. PS - The bathrooms are amazing.
- PaddyJanuary 4, 2015Easily reachable from London Victoria via Gatwick Express or also via London overground trains. South terminal has plenty of restaurants and cafés to pass the time (3 hours in my case)
- Mark LeeJanuary 29, 2020Fast track security is called Premium and is on your left before the main security entrances. Fast efficient on a Wednesday 0645.
- Let's see how good all this new snow equipment is, seems a shame to have it and not use it, let it snow, and let's get the runway cleared so we can get all those lucky passengers away on time.
- Actually surprisingly good. Security is the most efficient and organised I’ve experienced anywhere in the world.
- Felix YAugust 29, 2017Plenty security gates work tirelessly to keep short departure queue, staffs are very efficient while still polite and friendly with tourist.
- A Wetherspoons pub in every terminal, both airside and landside!!
- I like Gatwick. It's very easy to get there if you live in the south of England. Airport staff are very kind and friendly.
- Rafael MarinFebruary 19, 2015It's a nice airport. If you're taking the train to London, use the Gatwick express, specially if you're coming back to the airport and cannot afford any delays of the standard service.
- Between the 2 terminals, South is the best one. For seating go straight upstairs, for great watches downstairs
- ManoloOctober 1, 2014Staff is efficient and friendly. Well connected to London downtown. Downside: there's only a 45 minutes free internet connection
- My fave airport in London, though plan some time extra to go the terminal as the airport is really wide
- When you get to arrivals and need to charge your phone...there's a single plug socket behind the pillar at the barstool closest to the arrival gate at Costa!
- Wear your most comfortable pair of shoes when departing from here as you'll be walking miles and miles to get anywhere.
- PrettygreenteaOctober 12, 2014My opinion on Thomson has totally changed. Fantastic and passionate staff with an amazing list of destinations.
- A relatively nice airport, but with the lack of a good free WiFi network doesn't sit anywhere near the top of international airports in my mind.
- CSeptember 17, 2012Book easybus instead of the gatwick express or other buses. Fares as low as 2 £ if booked before and 10£ if you're a walk up. Massively cheaper than the others and leaves you in central London
- Kristian VanbergApril 7, 2014Get the New England Breakfast at Frankie & Bennys - friendly staff, quick service and great food makes a good start to any trip!
- When landing book tickets online for Gatwick Express to London for cheaper fares and to avoid queues. Pick up tickets at the Collect Only machine on far left hand side as you enter ticket hall.
- Simon EarlAugust 30, 2014The Priority Pass Lounge at No 1 in the North Terminal is probably the best lounge if you have multiple people in your party
- Ben DunnAugust 11, 2019Your typical stag/hen airport experience. On a plus side Pret croissants are usually fresh out the oven!
- Münzevî AbApril 14, 2014If you are boarding at gate number 47-49, you need to make at least 15 mins walk to reach to the point. So , make sure you have extra time for it.
- Great Check-in system, scanning bar codes to go through to security. Lots of security stands means you rarely queue. Love it, will fly from Gatwick more often!
- Yodit TesfayeMay 29, 2019Easy jet fly from the north terminal, so you need to factor in the shuttle from south terminal - it’s quick but still!
- Dennis Z.December 5, 2016Get the train (not the express one) to get in the city center. Best way to reach London
- Frederico MoscosoMay 8, 2014If you delete the cookies of your phone, tablet or computer you can have all the free 45 min of wifi you need. Only put new email and user every new connection.😋
- http://m.gatwickairport.com is handy mobile site serving its purpose rightfully.. I wish it could tell me of my gate number as well though
- The round structure in the south terminal was the first passenger terminal ever built! The round shape allows passengers to quickly board the plane when leaving the terminal.
- I am not a big fan of this airport. The layout is very inconvenient where you have to take a bus to go to the terminal. Afterwards, you need to go through security again if it is a connecting flight.
- Michael Fox-RabinovitzSeptember 8, 2016Well laid out and maintained airport, huge walk through duty free, pleasant travel experience
- Meg HanFebruary 28, 2015Go to jaime's on the second floor departures, awesome salads REAL, good coffee and hot cheap breakfast baps!
- Gateway to London! Friendly staff fast security and on the motorways always prefer this to Heathrow
- Well communicated and with a good offer for last minute purchases. I would categorize Gatwick as a comfort airport.
- Adrian West-ToomsMay 19, 2013If is available for you I highly recommend the twilight check in. Dropped off luggage amd checked in last night. No queues, no hassle and sailed through this morning with just the hand luggage!
- Jeff BaarsAugust 3, 2013Watch out with buying train tickets to central London, especially London bridge. There are two different train companies who don't accept the same tickets. FCC is the fastest to London bridge.
- Peter ChristiansonAugust 8, 2016Take note of which terminal you're in. If it's North, a lot an extra 15-20 minutes to get to your gate.
- Ashley YeoJune 30, 2019Nice range of shops and eateries after security at North Terminal. However it’s a very long walk to the gate if you’re taking Emirates.
- Not half bad considering London's airports reputations! The only issues with LGW is its distance from the city (1h30+ drive at peak hours) and the throngs of people at check-in and security.
- I love easyJet’s self-service bag drop. We didn’t wait even 5 minutes. Super quick!
- New airport. Now it's incredibly harder get to Departures from the drop off point. It's level 2 (although the signs on the lift don't say so) and then follow the signs up and down for 20 minutes...
- Michael HoldsworthJuly 4, 2015Well organised, friendly staff and check in/security were a doddle. Best London airport I've used.
- Lewis WallaceMay 30, 2019Grab great, inexpensive sandwiches and salads at Pret a Manger for your flight.
