Make sure to buy your Gatwick Express ticket on line before arriving as the queues are huge if you have to buy in the station.

Very cosy, "hand-made" airport, freshly designed and compact. Fast security, tasty food.

This airport is like a bus station. It doesnt seem like you are in an airport. The check in lines are huge, the lounges are decent. Use gatwick express form central london to get here.

Good Wi-Fi. Rich selection of shops and restaurants. Easy registration and security control. But sometimes crowded and dirty.

Boring if you're here with a briefcase. AWESOME if you're here with a snowboard! Ask for the fat tired Sam discount for £0.75 discounts in all restaurants.

If travelling to Reigate area, ring Bexleyheath taxis. Very friendly and only about £10 there - half the price of South Terminal airport taxis.

If you hold a British passport with a digital symbol, use the eGates when returning. Take the EU passport queue and head down to the right, through passport control in under 5 minutes every time!

It's depressing, illogical, huge airport without wi-fi. But in this airport you can find Jaime Oliver's restaurant and maybe you will be so lucky and one of tables will be free:)

Better than Heathrow for just getting to/from London. Good connections by train to London. You might save some money by taking the train to London Bridge instead of the Gatwick Express to Victoria.

The south terminal is easy to get through. Just remember; if you’re traveling to the US or back, you must take your iPad out of your bag.

Airport has two terminals (North & South). From here you can fly to most of European cities. Restaurants & cafes are in the 2nd floor.

Don't forget, if you have a layover in London, even if coming from another euro state, you'll have to go through immigration and security before your next flight!

Be aware that you need at least 15 extra min to get to the terminal B from the A as you need to take an internal overground train. The Gatwick Express will leave you at terminal A.

One of many international airports easily assessable from central London. 30mins on the Gatwick Express (train) from Victoria. There're a few shops and places to eat and entertain... Bon voyage! ✈

Train to central London: Thameslink and Southern Line are cheaper alternatives to Gatwick Express. You can save more than £5. Choose "NOT Gatwick Express" on ticket machine.

Gate 10 South Terminal is a little confusing. Don’t take the travelator, walk along the left past gate 10A and there you are .. there’s a group 1 priority boarding lane that takes you to front of q.

If you're flying with Virgin, then go to the lounge / clubhouse and pay £45 to use the lounge, its the only way to start your travels, and get there early too! :-)

If you have a connecting flight and you find your options are international connections, baggage claim, or exit, choose international connections, regardless of where you are flying next.

I prefer this airport than Heathrow, not busy at all. Queues are short and VAT refund is fast. The downturn, no variety in duty free shops and no brands.

Everything about this airport is Mickey Mouse. God forbid you need to change flights. A hellish process established by the airport vs airlines. Also, Vueling doesn't believe in self checks ins. Redic.
