- If you hold a British passport with a digital symbol, use the eGates when returning. Take the EU passport queue and head down to the right, through passport control in under 5 minutes every time!
- Natali YorkinaMay 18, 2013It's depressing, illogical, huge airport without wi-fi. But in this airport you can find Jaime Oliver's restaurant and maybe you will be so lucky and one of tables will be free:)
- Better than Heathrow for just getting to/from London. Good connections by train to London. You might save some money by taking the train to London Bridge instead of the Gatwick Express to Victoria.

- Mark LeeJanuary 29, 2020Gate 10 South Terminal is a little confusing. Don’t take the travelator, walk along the left past gate 10A and there you are .. there’s a group 1 priority boarding lane that takes you to front of q.
- If you're flying with Virgin, then go to the lounge / clubhouse and pay £45 to use the lounge, its the only way to start your travels, and get there early too! :-)
- JohanNovember 19, 2012New security lines upstairs in the southern terminal. Got through in 1:30 minutes, quite cool. Also FCC train from London Bridge was 10£/40min

- Gatwick South is a pretty nice airport, fast and relaxed security and not overcrowded.
