- The construction may throw you off, but it is still a terrific airport!
- Matija DjumicDecember 16, 2012A safe place to spend a night at if you're having a huge layover and want to save money. No negative experience from this place.
- The Souhwest hub is at terminal 1 making it the quickest to get to, but it's also the terminal most in dire need of a facelift. No good options for food other than fast food. Eat before you go.
- For those driving more than 20 miles to get here, consider hitting the road 2-3 days early.
- Once you leave the secure area it's a ghost town by baggage claim. No stores, not even a vending machine. Lovely how they unload all priority tagged bags last.
- The Parking Spot always a good place to park on Sepulveda and you can earn free parking with points.
- After the renovation , LAX deserves a world class status.

- Pre check is the way to go. Get to keep everything on and just breeze through security.

- One of the few places you can get something for breakfast that resembles low Carb. It ain't perfect but the other restaurants in T2 are worse.
- Jordan GehmanAugust 30, 2014Water fountains by bathrooms across from baggage services (past baggage claim 1) provide free refreshment after a dry flight.
- Kind of a cluster eff airport. Lines for Starbucks are insanely long in the morning and seats at the gates are extremely uncomfortable. Good luck trying to relax and nap in them :p.
- If you're connecting outward? You might be wiser to hang out in Tom Bradley. The outer terminals are a bit short on ways to kill time!

- Honestly, security here goes much faster than it does where I come from. No complaints from me !
- In terminal 7, there's a Burger Counter, BLD, Yogurtland but at airport prices. Also a B Grill by BOA
- Make sure to come with plenty of time, it takes very long to reach your terminal with this traffic

- How come in the US Airways terminal, there are 3 bars, but none you can sit and order food and a beer? All 3, you have to go get your own food, then belly up. Long day, just want to be served.
- Use the bathroom on the plane before you get off the line is always so long for the women's bathroom near any gate
- For Backpackers: take the free Green shuttle to the Metro and get around to Hollywood that way. So much cheaper than any taxi
- Liane HuAugust 20, 2014Limited food options in Terminal 3 for Gates 31-39: Burger King, Starbucks, and a seafood restaurant. If you want something else, plan to grab food before going to your gate.
- Love the new body scanners! Makes security checks twice as long and lines way longer. But you get a picture of your intestines, very nice!

- So big, but yet, lines are never too long for TSA. Lots of options to eat and shop
- Southwest in terminal 1 doesn't accept mobile boarding pass, but the the lady at baggage drop was nice enough to print one for me, thanks lady. Enjoy your flight
- It is possible to do a LAX / ORLANDO round trip the same day and have fun but you have to go nonstop on Delta or United
