LeslieJune 25, 2012Southwest ladies need to learn to count again. 3 times there were 28 ppl on the plane, then they found the 29th after the pilot counted....great mini pretzels though.
LAX will be under construction until the day the world ends. Food options are limited and TSA lines are always longer than your actual flight time. Basically, my home base airport sucks.
Don't be late to your flight because your having to much fun at the bar with ur friends lol

Sit at the bar and you can take advantage of the free wifi in the Air France Lounge above.
This airport needs a UI overhaul. Its chaoticness perfectly mirrors LA. Tips: United Premier checkin much better than regular; ParkAir Express on Century good place to park w/ frequent shuttles.
If you hate yourself arrive really early at LAX so that you can experience extra time in hell that just can't be enjoyed anywhere else on earth.
I was impressed with the Korean taco food truck inside terminal four.

DoubleTree by Hilton ManagerSeptember 22, 2011If you’re unable to select the middle seat when booking your flight, do not book that flight. The flight is most likely oversold which could make for an unwanted adventure when take-off time comes.
- #wholefoods Venice beach is actually close just take Lincoln north 15 minutes to #VeniceBeach or In-and-Burger is even closer, Google it
The lack of charging options is staggering. Get your act together LA!- Wait until you get to your gate to make a seat change or upgrade. More flexible and cheaper. ;-)
Shuttle from terminal 3 to 2, they should combine Delta and Aeromexico already.
Virgin America terminal has slim pickings- bring your own snacks!

Long Layover? Call the nearby Custom Hotel (the only boutique hotel at LAX) and ask for a layover rate. Free shuttle 5am - 2am.
If you're arriving internationally, wear comfortable shoes. It's a *long* walk from plane to immigration.
I like to wear camo shorts and hizo my hair so i can pass as a military service member and cut in line

- Learn to appreciate the billions of dollars of labor that went into constructing this international airport in Southern California and providing for its daily operations.

VEGAS TIP: Fly Southwest/Park in Park One/Do not check bags/Pay for a A-List upgrade (unless u already r a-list)/Sit close to front of plane for easy out/Lastly... 2 in the air is like 4 down there.
When there is traffic in the arrivals drive through the departures and pick up there. One is normally wide open while the other has traffic.

KristinSeptember 1, 2013Huge airport. Leave extra time for flights. Security and lines are longer than most airports.
I wish it would be easier to get to the international terminal without getting luggage first!
Traffic? Park your car and walk. It's worth the three dollar parking few.

Diane GeeJanuary 21, 2013Well the lady that checked my bag into delta airlines was just downright rude so be careful and don't give the attitude back otherwise your in for a treat at security.. But security is very very nice!

This airport sucks in almost every way. The staff are generally nice though and understand they’re working in an absurd universe
This is a good place to be if you want to take a flight somewhere.
So much easier to fly international vs domestic out of LAX.
