Good scene. Great appetizers especially the flatbread. Entrees were OK - slightly on the bland side. Staff can be a bit hipsterish. IMO the pork chop at Mustards Grill is waaay better.
Known for their hip and lively atmosphere and clientele, Nopa serves up delicious brunch dishes on the weekends. The queue gets long, so try to think ahead (and put your name down) or prepare to wait.
Star mixologist Neyah White serves his own home-finished Red Head rye whiskey (aged in Zinfandel barrels) at this late-night neighborhood gathering place.
Food's alright. If you don't have a reservation there is no order for walkins. You get to hang around the communal table and wait for some get up. Order is not guaranteed nor will they take name to 📞
Losing their touch over the years. Service has become barely tolerable. Appetizers are solid, entrees mediocre at best. Sit at the bar and get the burger, or do one better—go to Nopalito instead.
Try anything, even if it only sounds okay. There is nothing we've found yet that Nopa does not do amazingly well. A laid-back place for the neighborhood gourmet.
