The best organic and juicy friend chicken! The skin is so yummy, you eat the chicken last :) Come with an appetite, hearty portions and home baked pies.
The burnt endblack beans and chicken biscuit are what my dreams are made of (and also my hangover meals). I don't think the waiters give a shit but oh well. You're here for the food.
"Pies 'n' Thighs makes Cinnamon-Sugar doughnuts in both yeast and cake form, but it's the cakedoughnut, dusted in the perfect ratio of cinnamon to sugar, which stands out." - Serious Eats
Great chicken biscuit, but got without all the sauce. Also, pies are not great. My table tried four and none were fantastic. Still a cute spot with good food.
As a fried chicken aficionado, I searched for fried chicken & this one came up as #2. I would have to disagree. Everything LOOKED good but was sadly lacking in taste and seasoning.Donuts were decent.
This place is awesome. On a sunny day, head to the bak patio and start with the fish tacos! (and from there, you'll want to order...basically everything on the menu).
I know this is heresy but it was just ok. Chicken was cooked perfectly but crust was not special. Waffles are buckwheat and don't pair well with chicken. Why be healthy on the waffles?!
Avoid the fried chicken and waffles. Their twist on this dish is buckwheatwaffles with fresh fruit. Unnecessary and does not constitute true chicken and waffles!

Best chicken in New York. I get the basket everytime with collar greens. Comes w/ hot sauce so ask for w/o if you struggle with heat. Try not to go peak hours, you'll be waiting. Closed 4 to 5pm
Pies ’n’ Thighs started in 2006, in the shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge. We took over a beer storage closet and transformed it into a tiny kitchen with six stools, serving huge donuts, two-napkin smoked pork sandwiches and salty, crispy fried chicken.
