I've started to make it a habit of getting to the airport with only 15 minutes until boarding for my weekly flights. Security is always quick. Hasn't failed me yet!
When it is slammed going through gates 23-34, you might not want to go in the priority line because they funnel one of the other lines into 1 tsa employee. Takes fucking forever.

Terminal C is actually two different terminals with the same name. They can get away with it though since there is a bus inside security to take you back and forth between the two.
One of the easier airports to get through security in a timely manner. My gate had decent food vendors nearby. I always use National when flying to DC.
Cheapest place to get water in the AA concourse in Terminal B? Potbelly's. If you're paying more than 2.40 for a big bottle, you're getting ripped off more than you would anyways.
Take the Metro from DC to the airport and save $10-15. When you get off the Metro, if you need to go to Terminal A, make sure you take the shuttle. Otherwise, it's literally like a half-mile away.
