Adriaan MoorsJune 20, 2016When connecting to the US from Europe, don't forget there's a second passport control line right before the gates. It pays to join the line with two economy agents ;-)
Take the rail downtown (the station is across the street from arrivals). It's $7 vs $50 for a taxi, and faster. And you can plug in your cell phone on a train.

F!August 31, 2016Free wifi for 120mins. Clean toilets, expensive foods, the airport open 24hours. You can sleep overnight in terminal D just in front of the transit hotel for free.

Angela WuMarch 21, 2017Long layover? Terrace outside security @ the airport is nice! Or make a daytrip, luggage holding is 5 francs for 4hrs (go to Service Center) & train to Zurich HB (main station) is frequent and ~15 min
Good WiFi connection which is free for one hour. Also really good and friendly staff. Big but also easy to find around.

Sportbar has an outdoor terrace after the check in - the only one.And the family service is very nice when traveling with children

observation desk is must to visit! it's for a little price but it worth it! now around 12 it's A380 taking off (check timetable for the exact time)

At end of gate area B: nice view, comfortable seats with wall plugs nearby, internet terminals, relaxed atmosphere

Always ensure to be here at least 2.5 hours before your international flight. Finding the right counter to check in could be taxing and queues tend to be longer.

Careful when using E gate, bordercontrol is a bottleneck by design (architecture & lack of technology) plan enough time for that
Neat and clean. You can take the train to the city right there
If you're in transit in the morning from overseas to Europe, it may be worthwhile going out and coming back in. By going landside, you have to reenter via security but immigration is much faster!

But there is also a new building under construction, wish it’s not a circle😁- Security, Immigration, traveling between train terminals and then walk to the gates takes time so be here well before time to enjoy this buzzing airport.
