If you're a star alliance silver/gold traveller, there's a Swiss arrival business lounge you can use before leaving the airport or waiting for a connecting flight. Jut follow the arrival lounge sign.

You always have to go thru security when going between Gates D and E, and back. Pointless 👎

Primeclass Lounge is the best lounge if you’re flying to/from ZRH
The food court is pretty good in the departure area. There is a good bar on the way to Gate E

nearby the parking at check-in 1 is a supermarket called coop pronto where you can buy goods for normal prices!

Smokers: far more agreeable than the smoking booths is the openair smoker's range in front of the spectators' platform.

Things are expensive here and if you have a stop over somewhere else in Europe buy your Swiss chocolate (Lind...) there except Sprüngli. You will save up to 35%
The service at Chalet Suisse is abysmal in the early morning. I've been sat here ages without being offered anything.
