- Huge and convenient: 15' to city centre, on-site conference rooms and hotels.
- Buy chocolates outside the boarding area (there is a Coop supermarket), instead of the Duty Free! Better prices and selection.
- One of my favourite airports! A breeze to pass through security, excellent shopping opportunities, as well as various options to grab a bite. All in all a very well designed airport!
- Clean & efficient airport. Expensive shops...but what would you expect in Switzerland.
- Tip: SWISS check-in 3 usually has *much* less people checking in than check-in 2 and 1.
- Werner FilhoNovember 15, 2014I don't like to fly, but I like when all is organized, and looks under control. I like The swiss way.
- Things are expensive here and if you have a stop over somewhere else in Europe buy your Swiss chocolate (Lind...) there except Sprüngli. You will save up to 35%

- purplefilesAugust 7, 2014I am surprised at so many reviewers saying it's the best airport ever. It's not the worst, but definitely not the best. Check-in desk took us ages, cafes and duty free are unimpressive...
- If you're a star alliance silver/gold traveller, there's a Swiss arrival business lounge you can use before leaving the airport or waiting for a connecting flight. Jut follow the arrival lounge sign.
- Welcome to Switzerland! buy cheese and chocolate before having a fondu with your banker and don't leave without a new watch.
- coughsodaJanuary 3, 2015nice airport in shit straits. all escalators were broken, my check-in desk's entire luggage conveyor was broken, and staff were a particular hassle. 👎
- Jesse WilsonJuly 5, 2017No cheese or chocolate in the gates area. And expensive liquor: $28 for 2 shots and soda.
- Anastas MisevSeptember 22, 2012Nice place to work while waiting. Internet is not free, but you can buy 24h access for 4.95 CHF
- If you buy a drink or snack in the duty-free shopping area keep the receipt to get 50% rebate on drinks and food from one of the gate bars after security check.
- Modern airport, nice restaurants, good lounge (KLM).
- Stand on the right hand side of the escalators, you'll make far more friends that way!
- Probably the only airport (airline also Swiss) in the world I trust to transport me in this weather!
- Fly Swiss? Grab your ticket at check-in 3. You'll be served by friendly humans and it's even faster than queuing at the check-in machines in 1.
