- One of the best and easiest airport to fly in and out of.
- If your flight to Newark or NYC is very delayed, consider jumping on AMTRAK - the station is a shuttle bus ride away & often airlines will give out vouchers.
- Cell phone lot right near the entrance to airports is an easy to place to hang out without having to get harrassed by the staties..

- One of the easier airports to navigate once the shuttle drops you off. TSA lines are manageable.
- Get here early. This is definitely a crowd airport with a congested security screening.

- There's a new security checkpoint downstairs in A gate. Usually not many people down there (since many people don't know about it).
- James H.December 10, 2014Convenient airport but the car rental takes a longtime since it is about ten minute bus ride from airport.
- Stop complaining about TSA and get Precheck and walk through! It's worth it.
- When traveling om southwest, go through security downstairs at baggage claim there is usually no Line!
- Huge Southwest hub, more convenient to Baltimore than Washington...
- Use the short term parking lot if you're running late. Super east to walk to terminal via overhead walkways--great for hot/cold days...
- Villa pizza - appears they don't clean the ovens the pizza comes out with soot all over the crust. Bleah!
- If u ve a flight in the evening u are good even if u arrive 30 mins before flight. The airport is always deserted.

- If flying Airtran check your gate! Terminal B and C do not connect and the flights are now out of the Southwest terminal due to the merger. Signs still point Airtran customers to B.
- Really impressed with the bar style charging/work stations in the Southwest terminal. Got lots of work done before my flight.

- Jim TraisterJuly 12, 2012NICE airport! Beware, restaurants don't have wireless...everytime you login w/ the paid wireless service, Boingo, they charge an additional $7.95..be careful not to lose your connection.
- There's now a security checkpoint on the Gate A baggage level. Use it and skip the lines!
- Surprisingly the prices for food here match real world standards!
- The only option for food/coffee in the int'l terminal has unpredictable, intermittent hours. Eat before you come. As for coffee, you're SOL.

- Vallard BenincosaApril 22, 2011For rental car return best to take 100 and exit arunda mills then head north. Mall right there if you have time to kill before flight.
- I hate getting to this airport from the DC area but once you get here flying is pretty easy.
- BWI does have PreCheck after 9p BUT sometimes they will honor it if they aren’t too busy.
- Flying southwest? Try the new downstairs security line. Quick, easy and not crowded (yet).
