- Nathan KamMay 25, 2012Hawaiian Airlines begins daily, nonstop service between EWR and Honolulu on June 4. Getting to the Hawaiian Islands just got a lot easier...and faster!
- Goatha06August 29, 2023The first time in here and Operation is really bad. Have an international flight but have many show stopper for a smooth boarding..Pls ensure that each bag is less than 50 lb and hate self tag!
- Scott KleinbergDecember 17, 2015The traffic getting here is dicey, so allow extra time. You'll do better on 1-9 than the Turnpike or 78.
- Rodolfo UmanaNovember 16, 2014If you have a layover you can go to the Jersey Gardens outlet mall. There is a $5 shuttle that runes every 30 minutes
- Crumbs Bake Shop in Terminal C serves up massive muffins and cupcakes, plus lemonade, iced coffee and tea ready to grab and go.
- Freddy DaiMay 13, 2022Terminal B international gate entry line is always so long and TSA precheck has been unavailable all 3 times I’ve come here. Decent restaurants and other food options are also very limited at EWR
- World Trade Center. Such a beautiful building. Never will forget those who were lost.
- If you travel internationally and land at Newark or JFK a lot, you should seriously consider joining the government's Global Entry system and avoid the immigration lines. Well worth $100 for 5 years.
- Arrive a bit earlier on Mondays or equivalents for TSAPee Check at terminal C. Just not enough space or people.
- Dillon GrayNovember 28, 2015Make sure you arrive either early enough or do the TSA Pre-Check during the holidays. Very long security lines!
- If you arrive at terminal A and need to go to terminal C or vice versa, don't exit security or follow the signs to the train. Use the inter-terminal bus. Somewhat hidden. Ask for directions.
- Korey LartigueNovember 26, 2011If you're looking for a cheap way to leave the city within the next few hours. EWR always has the cheap-getawat flights. But +/- 100$ for car service, depending on where you're coming from.
- First time in NJ? Make sure to check out the "lots of hair gel and talking with your hands" look. It's very popular here.
- 𝙈𝙖.October 11, 2014Private limousine, car service, and taxis also provide service to/from the airport. Taxis serving the airport charge a flat rate based on destination.
- The food situation has declined. Every restaurant is run by one vendor. No local flavor. Like eating at a restaurant run by the Borg. 😱
- If leaving out of Gate A- don't be fooled to join first available security line- stay to the right- walk straight and many more open up, all empty :)
- To find the cell phone lot: follow the signs to the Marriott, and then follow the signs for the cell phone lot
- If you're ordering an Uber from Porter - order to Terminal B pickup spot 3 - take the escalator down to meet the car ✌️
- Steve DreyerOctober 9, 2011I prefer the extra hour to get to atlantic city airport! Get in get out! Takes about 3 minutes to get through security and then get on the other side and enjoy doing whatever you like to do!
- Kaleigh JeffersFebruary 25, 2013Love the complimentary snacks and drinks and comfy chairs in the United Presidential Club!
- Security backs up at peak times. Get there early! Especially if you don't have TSA precheck.
- Aeolian-Skinner Princess PastoreFebruary 17, 2017Just don't idle in the arrival and departure areas.
- If you're wearing a belt or any kind of metal, put it into your carry on before going through security. It will save you and your patrons so much time. Arrive 2hours early for intl flights!
- The $16 Newark Express a wonderful, comfy coach bus but it does NOT come every 15 minutes. Bundle up.
- Don't fly Porter if you have three bags (or any more than one, really). I moved here for an internship and paid 50 something for bags at Pearson heading to LaGuardia, but now I'm paying 275 extra!
- Steven WinklerJune 4, 2013Newark Liberty may be the nation's friendliest airport. Sandwiches at Balducci's are deli fresh.
- Packing condoms in your luggage is OK. Just make sure it's not sitting right on top, where everyone can see it the minute you open your bag. Rookie mistake.
- Bill CurtinJanuary 9, 2023Being premier makes no difference. Being Tsa makes no difference. Being in first class makes no difference. Security lines are a nightmare. Everyone waits in same line for hours all the time.
- OctaneSeptember 4, 2013If you can get a car with no one else on it, you totally have time for a quickey with your significant other on the ride between Newark Liberty Station and AirTran Station.
- Tom HalleranApril 8, 2015Hard to rate as the layout is different each time I come here. Facilities near United gates are okay, others not so much. United lounges are crowded and terrible - better to sit in general population.
- No CLEAR in Terminal A. Pre check still moves somewhat fast but be prepared for lines if you are used to skipping them w/Clear.
- MargeNovember 12, 2017NWR the only airport where the line for the ladies room is longer than the line for security. 🙄
- Come early security delays are annoying. To self park for over a day u must take a bus to ur terminal. Not like other airports where u park and walk in.
- Sara AinslieMarch 31, 2015Terminal A Security are so funny & friendly! Makes the trip so much more pleasant.
- Terminal B esp in the 60s gates: poorly outfitted, no water fountains, minimal yet expensive food options, and it generally sucks. Hydrate before security - but at least security moves quickly.
- Jorge Guerra Jr.October 16, 2014It's too cold! Move to Miami! Enjoy a beautiful waterfront home! #resf
- Getting a cab is weird as shit if you plan to pay with a card... If I wanted to write them a check 1) I would have brought my checkbook 2) I would be an asshole. Plus there is a $6 voucher fee. BS
- When you decide to take an impromptu holiday and you're booked, packed, and at the airport 12 hours later. #triplikewedo
- Never know what traffic in is going to be like, so get there early and enjoy the restaurants.
- United terminal A closes TSA-precheck at 7pm. TSA Pre-check hours are 7am-7pm. So get to the gate before 7pm if you have pre-check. Clear works all day.
- Crunch GymSeptember 17, 2010Air travel can be tough on the knees and joints so while in flight, rotate the ankles in a circular motion one at a time. Then, sit back, relax and enjoy your flight.
