Nora ChangSeptember 27, 2016Big airport. Both Sheraton and Hilton are attached to airport property. Lounges are super far from gates.
Try “Aspire” Lounge at 41. Clean bathrooms, helpful staff. Comfortable seats. By invitation only. They accept other Credit Cards (Visa Signature), delicious soups, salads, breads, pasta & soft drinks!
The baby lounge at Schiphol is amazing. There are small sitting spaces and cots in individual curtained off pods. Also a kitchen area to warm up milk or food. Brilliant.
Awesome airport with great shopping, good airplane viewing and good wifi.

bmibabyMarch 26, 2012Regular buses and taxis from Schiphol to Amsterdam city can be picked up from in front of Schiphol Plaza. The railway station is located in the terminal central hall underneath Schiphol Plaza.

If you're totally pissed off and frustrated trying to get behind the gates, instant relief can be found by awarding the service a big fat 1 at the voting machine. Payback: it helps a little :-)

Biggest Airport of the Netherlands, lots of terminals.
If you don't have bags to check, go around the big mess of lines directly to the passport checkpoint. And there's no waiting in security lines since security checks are done at each gate.

Get your OWN drink & food, things in the lounge shops tend to make your wallet cry
It's become a bit of a shopping centre, but still think it's a good airport with an intuitive layout

The best airport, lots of shops inside. Prepare to walk for miles.

Leave plenty of time to get to your gate. The airport is larger than you think
