- John BrianJune 18, 2015Everything at this place is amazing. If you're a fan of aged meat and blue cheese you HAVE to get their signature burger... Or try the gnocchi.
- Renee TillottMarch 8, 2015Ricotta Gnudi was amazing. The burger & fries were overrated But I'd go back for the Gnudi & to try other things. Nice atmosphere & The wait wasn't as long as they said it would be.
- Carolina LentijoMarch 16, 2016The burger was beautiful... But the service is what surprised me. Perhaps it was my waiter, but he was the nicest waiter I have encountered in New York!
- Liese BiesJuly 19, 2015The raddish salad is indeed very filling and surprisingly tastefull. The barsh was perfectly cooked and had a nice salty crust. The bacon dressing made it Spotted Pig worthy.
- Claire J SongJune 1, 2015Char-Grilled Burger, $21 Some say this dish earned the Pig its Michelin star. The short-rib-heavy half-pound patty stands up to its mantle of salty-creamy Roquefort.
- Kelsey A.December 8, 2017I loved the salty, stinky cheese combo with the burger and the frites with rosemary and onion was amazing 😍
- Laura Del WarbieAugust 8, 2017That burger is something else- blue cheese, brioche bun and sting fries - definitely worth the wait.
- Julia ColosimoDecember 27, 2017I have a new standard for shoestring fries. My mouth is watering just thinking about them. Beets were delicious too. Expect a long wait. They do not take reservations. 🍔
- Beau LopezMay 2, 20149 dishes later ! Amazing ! Gnudi, carrots, deviled eggs, burger dish so yummy. Lemon tart and blood orange cake = too good! (Con: service is super bad, yucky)
- 1st time? Yes, everyone will say gnudi and the burger. But after that, I rec the succotash, corn soup in the summer, crispy pig ears or cheeks if you're lucky- be specific when asking staff for recs
- Mela MelSeptember 19, 2014The food is absolutely delicious but a bit heavy to digest afterwards due to the heavy seasoning and sauces used. The waiting time is also not great, but what can you do? It's a really small place..
- Magda KojJuly 23, 2014Love the Nightingale cocktail and the grilled skirt steak with béarnaise. The deviled eggs are delicious as well.
- For your entree, get the crispy pork belly with vegetables & fried squash or the grilled skirt steak with lime vinaigrette, chilles, & crispy shallots! The burger also looks amazing!
- One of NYC's best restaurants, and their open till 2am! Burger, gnudi, everything here is fantastic. Truly Magical! -The Foodie Magician
- Yes you do need to order the burger with the Rosemary shoestring fries.
- Munira AhmedNovember 20, 2011if you aren't a fan of blue cheese, ask for the burger to come without Roquefort.. they have no substitute cheese options but still a great burger! oh and the chicken liver toast is a MUST
- Anna RobertsOctober 1, 2015The chicken liver toast is insane. You must get the devil's on horseback, and the ricotta gnudi is like some sort of magical fluffy cheesy dream.
- NataliaJanuary 29, 2013Not the veggie-friendliest restaurant in Manhattan, but vegetarians can find their way here: Gnudi was one of the best pasta dishes I ever had. And the banana toffee tart... indescribable!
- Pierre van MedgeAugust 8, 2014The burger is great, but know that there are no substitutions, so if you don't like blue cheese, you'll have to do without any cheese at all. The fries are good too!
- Teddy LuJanuary 21, 2015best item on the daytime menu: sizzling sisig! its rich, decadent, and extremely fragrant...make sure you use the bread to soak up the excess fat!
- Elliot WehnerJanuary 3, 2015The burger and shoestring fries are awesome. Also has a good Bloody Mary and a few solid cask beers
- Liz DJune 27, 2013The deviled eggs are heaven, but you really can't go wrong with anything. Great bespoke and menu cocktails.
- Roniel TesslerNovember 11, 2017Get the chicken liver, burger, Arctic char, broccoli chili parmesan, and creme Catalan 😋skip the pork shoulder and deviled eggs.
- Eloise EatonJune 30, 2017Great late night place. Friendly staff & good quality food. The chocolate cake was delicious. The rhubarb pie was good but the chocolate was better.
- MyerNovember 29, 2015It's all great! No, really, get whatever tickles your fancy and you won't be disappointed. Wash it all down with plenty of booze, go home and come back tomorrow :)
- Nick NickAugust 19, 2014Not only are the burgers great, the whole rest of the menu is filled with really amazing dishes!
- kmfisJune 23, 2013One of the best Gastropubs in the city. I recommend Butter Roasted Turnips, Chicken Liver Toast, Devils on Horseback (bacon-wrapped prunes) and Bronx Pale Ale.
- Travel + LeisureJuly 30, 2012English chef April Bloomfield conjures the spirit of a rumpled, lively London gastropub in this cramped, cozy, altogether charming mess of a space in the far West Village.
- Lydia VanWormerJanuary 13, 2016Deviled eggs and Devils on Horseback (bacon wrapped dates) were both delicious and worth the trip & wait. Everything else, however, was not impressive. Including the snobby host.
- Janet FisherSeptember 10, 2017Cubano sandwich with a Bloody Mary along with bottomless coffee and really cool staff made for a very enjoyable Sunday brunch!
- Can't have brunch here without getting a Bloody Mary. Get there just before 11 and you'll get a seat.
- If you've never been have the burger. Otherwise try to explore the rest of the menu: gnudi, chicken liver, and deviled eggs are all amazing.
- Nathalie ElyseOctober 25, 2012Definitely try the deviled egg and the burger everyone is posting about. They are both amazing. The gnudi is tasty but a nothing special. I would try sometheing else on the menu over the gnudi.
- Thomas KnüwerJune 12, 2012Another little miracle by Mario Batali: excellent food (perhaps the best burger in Manhattan), relaxed atmosphere, great staff. If you have to wait: it's worth it!
- emily chenOctober 19, 2014the pig ear salad is no joke but it's quite good. burger is major blue cheese action and the gnuddi is fantastic. watch out for celebs.
- Kenneth KaasteskaftOctober 20, 2015Amazing place. Great kitchen, staff, location and atmosphere. The grilled cheese sandwich with a bottle of rosé and you're set
- Yossi MaeserOctober 2, 2016Will is an awesome waiter and made amazing recommendations! The deviled eggs are delicious and the stratecciela breakfast is a must.
- RACHELISTASeptember 22, 2012The best chicken livers I have ever tasted. Ask your waiter for a lemon to squeeze a little on top. The bartender recommended it to us and it was amazing!
- Ingvild M. PlosivOctober 9, 2017The roasted pig belly with squash purée was so good we wanted to lick the plate.
- Carl-Adam ScheeleDecember 13, 2015Very good place, took gnudi, scallops and nut crumble - only thing is it was "too rich". But I like the place - will be more hungry next time. Don't order well done - takes forever
- April Kate 🍴September 23, 2011Word is the burger is a must but if your eating Bloomfield.. Eat the damn pork! Liver toast, deviled eggs, pig's ear bone marrow.. Just pretend ur Michelin inspector and do it all the way
- CompassJuly 24, 2013One of the city’s finest gastro-pubs is known for its unbelievable burgers and long lines. Still, a meal at this West Village classic is worth the wait.
- Mike StrockoMay 22, 2014Get the banoffee pie for dessert. It's ridiculously good. HOWEVER, it's only on the winter menu. (Seriously, this should be a year-round menu item.)
- New York HabitatOctober 26, 2011This quaint little West Village gastropub is good for a casual lunch. If you're adventurous get the popular chicken liver toast, otherwise the burger and fries are mighty fine too.
- Josh EagleJune 6, 2017Fries are my favorite in NY😀 Mussels were few, yet delicious. A little bit too hype, but you can tell the cooks care deeply
- Martha PachatouridiOctober 5, 2014Chilled place for Sunday brunch in west village. Try the frittata and the pancakes! Yum :)
