If you're flying out of Term 2/3 on Delta, check in at Terminal 2. Much less hectic than the what you'll find at the Term 3 kiosks.

AirTrain Costs $5 per ride, collected at Jamaica or Howard Bay station.
It takes like an hour wait to get to the gate when arriving from international. So be ready for the wait.
John KiddeNovember 20, 2014HUGE airport, watch out if the train connecting the terminals is out of service - you'll need to hop on a shuttle bus.
Crazy line ups, not sure if they cancelled it or it was just a night measure, they blocked access to most electronic custom clearance kiosks when I arrived.

The FAA has noticed that planes to go back and to the left when they fly out despite what the radar says.

Traveling to Asia? Stay clear of Air China. Absolutely the worst inflight movies and TV shows. Food is sparse, alcohol runs out quick. Stewardesses aren't too shabby though and are quite friendly
Fly JetBlue so you can experience T5, the best terminal, oh and use @TripIt when you travel for crying out loud

There is No Dunkin Donuts in terminal 8! That's very dissappointing.- Fly Air France, you'll get access to the best lounge around.

Avoid the DELTA arrival terminal...why is it so small!? People keep Rollin over my feet with their damn spinners!! A positive is that the baggage claim and air train are really close to the gate(s).

Actual airport is amazing; trip to this airport from NYC is a nightmare- Eat at Shake Shack - don't look at the calories, just do it.
If in delta terminal, upgraded food and seating towards gate 15, don't be fooled by just Burger King and Starbucks
