- If you're flying out of terminal 2, go straight when you come out security. You'll run directly into a Wendy's.
- You don’t need to be here as early as people say you need to. Especially, if you’re not checking bags.

- Dirissy DoanNovember 8, 2016Go somewhere else! I thought the menu looked enticing but it's so overpriced and you get airport quality food. The beef carpaccio was drenched in mustard and croque monsier was poorly executed!!!
- Make sure you come ahead of time or the bald dude will have you playing musical lines. Under pressure much?!?
- This place is so enormous! Give yourself extra time just to find your gate and beware of changes.
- British airways counter is a mess. Got there 2 1/2 hrs early only to stand in line w/people waiting to checkin for earlier flight and board with 20 min left. Terminal 7 is smaller in comparison to T1.
- The best place at JFK - the Sky Deck at new Delta Terminal 4
- Christopher ZollerAugust 10, 2013When switching from domestic to international on Delta or Swissair, head for the shuttle/jitney.
- They'll know you're a "regular" at JFK if you only speak in an exaggerated Kennedy accent.
- Vast mega airport split into separate small-city sized terminal.
- Take the Q10 Bus to Lefferts Blvd for a free transfer to the A train into Manhattan - $2.50
- Feeling exhausted but I gotta go to work... Last run for a while until my little star gets here.. At lease I'm headed to better weather..#musiclife
- Generally an airport to avoid. All international flights have a one hour buffer from the scheduled take off time to the actual time off the runway.
- For delta flights, even If you're scheduled to depart from terminal 3, it's faster and better to check in at terminal 2. They're connected by a breezeway.
- New security line upstairs is a mess - domestic and international flights share the same line - increasing travel time.
- Shake shack is officially open in the new Delta terminal. Only 50¢ more than the usual prices.

- To get to Manhattan Penn Station via train: Take Air Train to Jamaica Station & Long Island RR to Penn. a $5 metro pass + $12.50 RT tix. Time saved by taking a $60 taxi? Priceless.

- Airtrain is at all terminals. Go via Jamaica for LIRR to Manhattan. Beats the subway any day.
- Marc UKGDecember 8, 2023Try not to connect through JFK especially arriving from outside the US. 2 hours waiting at immigration and another hour at least at security check which was super messy and felt not safe.
- Wondering since when is this airport in brooklyn. I've been to Fort Lauderdale Airport, and for some reason I was in Florida ... go figure.

- Natalie ✨November 6, 2012Beware: if you need a storage room to leave your baggage for a couple of days, they are situated in terminals 1, 4 and 8. However only the terminal 4 one is open 24 hrs,

- Terminal 4: Holy food choices batman! Blue smoke, shake shack and la brea bakery right past gate 35
- Take the air train to/from the subway for $5 and skip the taxi ripoffs
