Does it seem crowded? The airport handles around 48 million passengers a year which is the equivalent of the entire population of South Korea passing through the terminals every 12 months
To get to LaGuardia from JFK: Take the Air Train to Jamaica Station, pay $7.50 @ the Metro machine, get your Metro card and take the E Line to Jackson Hts/Roosevelt Ave stop. Follow signs for Q33 bus
Air travel can be tough on the knees and joints so while in flight, rotate the ankles in a circular motion one at a time. Then, sit back, relax and enjoy your flight.
"The city that never sleeps" Always feel like my first time.. Nothing describes the feeling you get when you're in this city. I fucking love New York 🇺🇸🗽🙌😍❤️
If you are trying to depart from delta gates 15-30, get their early and prepare so stand in a stagnant security line. One ticket checker and one X-ray machine for 15 gates.
Not as bad as I'd heard it made out to be. Got through security fairly quickly and hassle free and a decent range of restaurants and shops on the other side.
Love coming to NY for the Holidays. The parade, shopping and lights are awesome. Let us help you find a place to stay: http://newyork.airporthotelguide.com/.
Fly jetBlue if possible (unless there's a friggin hurricane). Cheaper rates, friendlier staff & more legroom than any other airline. JetBlue's terminal is much better here than other terminals!
JFK is very inconvenient for ppl doing connected flights w/priority pass. All lounges are after security at different terminals, so if you're flying out of a terminal w/out lounge-you are out of luck
If there is a long line at the taxi stand & no taxis tell the dispatcher to stop taking bribes from the black car mob & call more taxi. Then ask taxi driver to confirm this tip is true. It is!!
Getting back to CT from JFK, if you have the time: Take the AirTrain to Jamaica, transfer over to the E train, get off on Lex and 53rd, transfer to the 4/5/6, get off at GCT, take the Metro North
Please leave all gifts unwrapped when traveling through the airport, because they may require opening for security inspections. This applies to both carry-on and checked baggage.
Airport shuttle to grand central is never on time. Got on 630 ride at 7:17. Don't understand why we had to wait outside when coordinator had a walkie talkie and can tell when bus is actually coming
John F. Kennedy International Airport is the primary international airport serving New York City. It is the busiest international air passenger gateway into North America, the 14th-busiest airport in the world, and the sixth-busiest airport in the United States.
